The table was from Mechmate.com with our own modified gantry, we used Arduino Uno R3 CNC Shield as controller with external driver adapter to drive nema23, optoisolated, double shielded cable and grounding for emi, we use grbl, fusion360, universal gcode sender, there are lots of references online just be patient, good luck . . . enjoy your journey . . . cheers !

Hello, i see that you attached the motor (pinion) directly to the rack without using spring loaded mechanism, So far how is the machine working, are there any accuracy or backlash problems? Appreciate your help

Hi, if you zoom in at 0:55 you will see that the plate is spring loaded, backlash is almost nil for our rack and pinion, thanks.

Yes, it is a cost effective way to prevent warpage in sheet metal in conjunction with the correct ampere and speed . . .

Hi mate! That is a very simple table you have built. I really like its simple design with only single rails on each axis. Are you running the motors on belt drive or gear drive? What type of rails did you use? MGNR15?

We use grbl, an open source cnc control software, universal gcode sender (ugs), a full featured gcode platform used for interfacing with advanced CNC controllers like GRBL and Fusion360 for design . . .

Hi very good job!! One question, I have the same Plasmargon PLC 65 pro plasma cutter with a non-touch pilot arc, how did you insulate the electronics to prevent the high frequency currents from the plasma cutter from blocking the Arduino controller? I made my CNC and as soon as I turn on the torch it gets blocked and I lose connection with the Arduino. Regards and thanks from now.

Proper grounding, double shielded control wires and optoisolator with 24 volts for the limit switches and relay but I still got interference, I turned off the limit switches in grbl ($21=0) which solved the problem on emi.

@@nes-t326 Maybe this guy has a solution, I can't put links but search his vid, he explain how he dealt with interference: "CHEAPEST CNC PLASMA - FIXED RFI! Jake von Slatt" Another guy put the controller far away from CNC table on a PVC pipe.. And good job, congratz.
