Thanks for the review. Does keymapping require the software to always run or do those setting get written into the memory of the keyboard? In other words, if I connect the KB ot a new device, would my setup "just work" without installing any software? The reason I am asking is because I have Chromebook which usually is not supported by companies like Logitech, so you have to write the firmware to the chip to get things to work. Nice review on the static 360 but.. you never stated how much it cost...😮.. And Leslie you did not say how fast they would charge your cell phone or any other device and if you had to worry about your phone or other device being overcharged does it turn off from that product is fully charged that would also be the question..???

For portable option…I haven’t found anything that can mount that tall for an iPad. Maybe if you got something like in my previous EDC video where you can use a small video tripod and somehow find a vesa mount adapter for it

For Steam and Epic, just go to settings and turn on Offline mode/Offline browsing. Then on Epic you may need to click "Skip Login" if it prompts you when offline.

But I love the iPhone… and it’s my daily phone and main reason I love it is because of the Apple log footage. I was really debating on moving to the next Samsung ultra when it comes out but as long as they have some kind of log video then maybe I might but until then I don’t think I would try anything else as my daily phone

@@sampakpakfocus on that aspect in your review! I l’m actually saving up for the Lexar Professional Go SSD specifically to use my phone as an easy overhead for my desk and travel camera while I’m out. Would be interested in seeing how you go about using the Log footage. I have yet to do so!

@sampakpak I’d be down! My attraction to the Lexar setup is just how TINY it is. I would mostly use it for overhead shots though, so I wouldn’t be opposed to a cheaper alternative to at least consider!

I'm in a toss up between the Zenbook Duo and the Surface pro 11. Do you think this would work with the surface pro? I really like the portability of the surface, but desperately need dual monitors on the go.

I’m not sure if this would work with the surface pro because of the placement of the magnets. I think this would topple over. I think I would go with the zen book duo if you need that dual screen and -portable setup

Crazy to see how people react to Topre nowadays. Go back 7-10 years ago and Topre was the niche king of keyboards. Now it feels like the sound profile and feel of Topre is no longer appreciated by the majority of the keyboard community who only prefer the sound of lubed MX switches in a foam-filled, polycarb-plated, heavy metal case. Even crazier when you consider that, back in the 90s, collectors used to hunt for the right *ping* in their boards - a feature that is nowadays seen as a bad thing in keyboards!

Topre appreciators are still topre appreciators though. Attempts for MX to mimic the feel and sound though have never quite actually been able to replicate Topre. That’s like trying to build a Topre board to replicate MX. We should just appreciate each for what they are.

For me it's still topre or nothing, the thing is we're a niche community, always were and this keyboard is an attempt by PFU at reaching mass market and capitalizing on the sudden popularity of the custom MX keyboards, they're trying to make a buck and i can't blame them, so long as they keep giving me Topre options i'm happy
