Hey man can I ask if the mini z nissan gtr 2000 body shell can fit with onisiki kodama? And also what electronics you install? I’d like that the pre built kodama can drift right out of the box after installing electronics no more fiddling too much thank you and more power

I really want to get into rc drifting. I’ve just bought a cheapy LDRC Mx5 from Ali Express. Not sure how long it will take to come to the UK but 🤷🏽♂️. I’ve ordered a different gyro as I’ve heard the stock one is rubbish. I know the car I’ve ordered has nothing on your cars but I’m just seeing if I get on with drifting I’ll look into buying a better car. Don’t suppose you have any small rc drift pages on Facebook? Also I don’t suppose you’re selling any cars 🤷🏽♂️😂

I have just gotten into drift always liked it just never tried it love bashers and crawlers hell all rc’s lately I bought a k969 wltoys converted into rwd and changed the steering to have 85 to 90 degrees of steering ordered the dasmikro gyro really liking it so far got carbon chassis some wheels a a tamiya 1/24 Supra that I painted and done up love scale stuff nice rigs bro 😍💯🔥🔥🔥😎👍

omg - i want to get back into rc drifting so bad!! i was one of the first to experiment with counter steering with the 1:10 scales in Sydney australia back in 2012 days ? i cant remember . i am now 38 with a 3.5 year old daughter :D I love how this has evolved ! so epic! thanks for sharing mate . hopefully one day once i sort my finances out I can get back into this . i miss it so much.

So i just picked up my first mini z. Its the kei truck first z. I wanted a mini z to drift with but didnt want to spend the extra 100s, and i like the kei shell. What mods would you recommend to make it a decent drifter? If i even can, that is. Or would it be better to just save up for an awd body?

I was wondering does this go down to 94 mm cause you got the 98 mm body on it and looked like it would go down a little more awsome chassis im getting one even if it dont go to that length but i do like the skylines r32 r33 r34 r35 .

How do you convert the MA030 Evo from 98mm to 94 mm using the stock rear suspension? Is that possible or do you need a separate awd center shaft?

Hello, I just recently ordered an onisiki and was wondering what size and width those wheels are as well as offset? They seem to be the perfect size as I also have a mini z porche I want to be able to fit when I turn it into a 1/28 scale. Any info would help. Thanks!

Hi, can you please elaborate on you lipo setup for the MA03 EVO and, do you know if a Jumorema fits over it? Did you ever post the videos of your converting the car?

btw, I found installing a gyro on a MR-03 makes the turning radius larger than without it. Do you find the same behavior?

Great content! I didn't know that upgrading the transmitter would improve the steering angle that much. I'm currently running my MA-020 on a tight check where in some corners I've to be really slow to make the turn due to it's bad turning radius. I'm running on +1 on tie rod which reduce the turning circle a bit but make the car bit twitchy on initial steer input

…the backend is mounted reversed…the dampers is supposed to go in the back…the motor in front forward rear axle…and the motor can rotate 90 degrees from up to horisontal…to fit more models…

Wow looks great - Thanks for the video. So any Mini Z body will just clip on ? I never had a micro drift or mini z but have other 1/10 rc drift... Been wanting a micro for a while - but they always seemed like a pain and that they didn't drift great - this seems way better than a few years ago

I did this same conversion but with an mr03 evo board. The throttle response and power im gettjng is no where near as much as yours. Im using the kt531p transmitter. Is it possible the mr03 evo board is not suited for load of the awd? Also, can the board still power up if the battery leads are backwards? Any info would be great. Thank you for your time.

@GarageMiniRCUK that is disappointing. I get alot of stutter when i first take off unless i pull the throttle only half way. Ive tried different gearing and resetting the car and transmitter but no luck. I might ditch the evo board then and try one of furiteks esc's with there stand alone servo control unit.

Stutter from the board .I'm sure I had this even woth the standard set up and I had to adjust using ics lead. It's been a while, im going to get back into testing all of these again.

My Kodama keeps chewing up the plastic bevel gear that is right before the differential. I've gone through 2 of them in a short amount of time. Have you experienced this kind of wearing on the bevel gear?

Only about an hour and a half. I contacted Onisiki and asked if they're planning to make a gear out of a metal. I was told a copper gear is in production.

I got one as my first, nothing to compare it to, but it is hard to drift compared to ldr/c. Also the servo broke after 1 battery. Maybe look at the TG RTR, I just ordered one

Just wondering what gyro would you use on the ma030 for drifting? I have a std mini z awd r33 and it came std with a gyro but it has a 4 pin plug where as the ma030 has a 3 pin..

I know that the ma030 gyro is different and fro memory I think it is simelar to the asf model gyros.

Hi , I really love your videos! I have a bunch of friends and we all so 1:28 drifting. But we also love to change out Chassis to racers, fit grip tires and do a Little Racing after the Drift Challenge. No Hardcore Racing. Just fun and carefully, no one wants to damage his drift-Chassis. And here is the problem. Most new drifters don’t have Open diffs. And Most Even don’t have the option to one. So maybe you could make a overview of Cars with Open diffs/closed Diffs with/without Option on open diffs and try, if one fits any chassis ?!? I really Like the TG Chassis, but I want a Ball diff. So I am thinking of buying one and trying to modifie a Ball diff from other to fit in. You do have all chassis and so all Diffs. So maybe you could look if Diffs are interchangeable somehow. For me, the TG would be Most interesting with Open diff. And I really think, there are lots of people out there, who want to know, if they could install a Ball Diff into their Drift chassis. Just an idea. But maybe worth to think of… Thanks
