The top is a fake look. Probably someone who uses a smile as a mask and when the person meets his favourite or most trusted person he just doesnt have to put the mask on anymore. The bottom is a guarded approach and he looks at people with caution. But when the favourite comes he doesnt have to guard himself against the person.
