Join GardenTractorTalk and SimpleTractors for info and parts dealers. The original plows were know as frame brakers because they had no give. ZippoVarga here on YT has done many videos on Allis Chalmers and Simplicity garden tractor repairs. There is a chance that the parts needed to fix the spindles are generic and available from an auto parts store or a hardware store. Good Luck, Rick

I've wanted one of these for over 50 years. The first one I saw was at Moncrief Seed and Feed in McAlester, Oklahoma. They also had an Allis D12 diesel but that was beyond imagination to ever have one of those either.

I have a couple of those snow blowers around here. Along with extra cab (s) and I believe a garden tiller also. I used to do all of my smow moving with a 7117 and a blower just like that. I got employed moving snow with a skid steer loader and have to drive right past my own place to clear the boss's place so the steering always malfunctions right about then. Yeah a snow blower will definetely make the motor talk. But it is a great way to keep the carbon cleared from motor

Neighbor had a b-10 for sale, snagged it for $40, need to get engine running but I think it's just the points. =] Found a mower deck and a snowblower for it, hoping to get the hydraulic lift accessory at a decent price.

@tscholent 1st gear mid range throws the snow 20'30 feet and gives the tractor a good work out.

@MyBullDogMack If I don't run in 2nd gear high range it plugs up any slower than that. Trust me, I know it's limits

I had a b212 with single stage snow thrower. It would clog in wet or heavy snow and all the belts were always a worry. Not much use as a snow blower, but nice little tractor, especially having hydrolics at this size, but not many applications for the pto.

You can use the hand clutch instead of the foot clutch to go from reverse to first without grinding. (I know it's not easy to video with one hand and operate with the other and still use the hand clutch. :)

I loved my b-12 to death. But my father sold it out from under me when him and my mother split. I would give anything to have my bumble bee back!
@ZippoVarga14 жыл бұрын
Hey JR!! Thanks for the sub.....Who ever told you the B212 wouldn't get enough "rpm" obviously doesn't know jack about these machines. It's Torque and HP that lets you run over 30 implements. Truth be told, I have a 9hp 1964 Landlord that I would put up against any of these new box store POS machines with 20+hp engines. Glad to have you aboard and if you need any assistance with anything, give me a shout. If I can't help you, I have a bunch of guys we can ask.
