What is the Null and Alternative Hypothesis for this question???

The null hypothesis is that all groups are the same. The alternate hypothesis is that the groups are not all the same.

Prof. Dan... The calculation for example 5 is incorrect, no? When you plugged in the coordinates (-3.4) into the equation, instead of using the slope -9/5, you wrote -3/5. That throws the result of. Or did I miss something? Should it be 27/5 when you multiply the slope -9/5(-3)?

You are correct that I made that error. Notice that I did write the slope correctly at the end, so the only error in the final equation is the y-intercept. The correct equation should be y = (-9/5)x - (7/5)

Hello, I have a question. For #2 If given $1000 that compounds 8% a month over 8 years why is the equation not Y=1000(1.08)^(8yr)×(12mo) Or Y=1000(1.08)^96 and the answer be about $1,616,890? Any answer would be greatly appreciated.

I mention it quickly in the video that I was going to complete the question as compounded "annually" instead of "monthly". Compounding monthly not only changes the exponent as you describe, but also the multiplier (1.08) will also change. Watch the video on compound interest. It will be coming up later in the course.
