That moving bolt you filmed at the top needs to be tightened and the other 2 next to them. Don't over tighten or youll turn the suspension poll on the axle into an oval shape giving the suspension less freedom. Mine wiggled regardless of tightening so i got a small thin washer and shaped it to fit the hole and aligned the holes and tightened the bolt. Now my wheel feels stable as heck and eliminated my brake wabbles

@thomaslange1004 Yes, the yellow parts are the vertex and the black seat (I wish I had gotten the white). The white is a wrap (like they out on cars). A Buddy does cars and put it on. It looks great without the vertex, but I want the protection. I put the bio pads on all my wheels so everything is the same, minimizes adjusting between wheels. Thanks for the like and comment! Ride safely
@thomaslange100412 күн бұрын
Is that the vertex bumper kit? What is the rest of that on your wheel, the white i mean, because the yellow is all vertex right? Very curious, looks like you mix and matched a lot but it came out nice. @@pedro-on-wheels nice! I'm trying the same thing on my nikola. Had to cut the bottom in the shape of the wheel(circle). Not the stablest and it moves around and stops me from using the trolley handle. I ordered a real seat with mounting brackets from Russia but it's taking 2 months. They said it's such an old wheel no one has ordered it in a long time and they had to custom build it for me. Tep Rides in Etsy sells a handle(front and rear latch), seat, and fairings(to cover top sides where stock pads used to cover) 3d printed kit for $35 for the falcon

Hi! I'm thinking about how much it differs from the A2 and whether it's worth overpaying for the suspension? Can it be compared to T4?
@pedro-on-wheels3 ай бұрын
@pwrbldr10 That's a good question. I wouldn't upgrade an a2 to a falcon, but either or is a harder question. The 100v and suspension is great, but the a2 will probably last a little longer due to less moving parts. Lmk what you decide!

@@pedro-on-wheels Nice jury-rigged system. I do similar with other projects. I've been saving/storing a lot of that packing memory foam they send expensive items in to re-purpose it as safety improvements (glue or secure more padding inside things or potentially around the wheel. The Falcon frame is indestructible, but I'd like to pad the front/edges for when I spill and it rolls over. No doubt it can take hits but a little early padding in the right places over steel should be beneficial. For a possible seat, I was thinking something to slide over the handle on/off, like a padded sleeve and re-inforce the locking clamp as it's not very sturdy to hold the handle down enough for my tastes.

Hi! What do you think about this wheel? pros and cons? How well does the suspension work? Thank you!
@pedro-on-wheels3 ай бұрын
@DmitryFrolov I like it so far. It's light enough to throw around and still 100v. My main concern is long-term reliability. There isn't a lot of travel in the suspension, but it takes the hit out of small bumps. Ride safely!

Sorry, didn't see this. I'm ~165lb w/ gear and 5'10". 900lb spring. Once you get the correct spring weight, the correct preload, the correct air pressure, and correctly adjust the compression and rebound ... it's okay. Lots of travel, but not as smooth as a FastAce. The power and stability are hard to beat.
