everything about this scratches my brain in the best ways. oh my god. i get so much joy from this. THE HARMONIES ARE FUCKING STELLAR. THE WAY THE CHORUS REPEATS DURING THE SPOKEN PORTION IN THE MIDDLE(this is my favorite part, because im imagining a third party saying the spoken portion while Agoti and Aldryx repeat the chorus and it itches my brain so good) everything about this puts this stupid grin on my face and i havent been able to stop smiling since i started listening to this, about.. half an hour ago? LOOOL.

(This is part 7 of my Agoti x Sarvente love story. This is a bit after Aldryx found Agoti, Tabi, and Sarvente all unconscious in the burning restaurant at the end of part 6 (which I was unable to do in the comments, sorry). Worried about Agoti and his girl's safety, Aldryx took his brother to Solazar's home while Sarvente was brought to the hospital (Since her regeneration doesn't heal severe injuries instantly in this series.) so she can recover. Solazar and Aldryx had also found out about Sarv's strained relationship with Daddy Dearest and the fact that she's his sister. Oh, and by the way, there will be lyrics on this cover, but instead of the usual Awake and Alive lyrics, it'll be my take on it.) [Part 7: "Agoti's message to Sarvente and Tabi"] A few hours had passed after the skirmish that happened back at the restaurant. Agoti slowly started to wake up, emitting a weak groan as he did. As he sat up, he realized that he was in the bedroom, but... it wasn't the same as the one back at Sarvente's church. What could've possibly happened while he was unconscious? What happened with Sarv? Was she okay? Was Tabi still alive and somehow still on the loose? There are so many questions, but no answers yet. Agoti got off the bed and took a second to come to grips with where he was at the moment. This place... it seemed so familiar to him. He walked out of the bedroom and into the living room, where he spotted Aldryx sitting on the couch, talking to someone on the phone. "I hope she recovers soon," the fire-bending digidevil uttered. "Let me know what happens when you're done. I'll talk to you in a bit." He ended the call and put his phone in his pocket. Agoti gazed at his older brother and inquired, "What's going on, Dryx?" Aldryx looks over his shoulder at Agoti. "Come sit down next to me, bro. I'll explain everything." Agoti obliged and sat next to Aldryx, intrigued by what he had to tell him. Aldryx exhaled and began, "I'm sure you're wondering what's going on as we speak. About Tabi... and Sarvente." Agoti nodded in response. "Sarv's in the hospital at the moment, "Aldryx continued." She's still alive, but she had bits of shrapnel from the bombs Tabi exploded, and they nearly hit some of her arteries. Now you were there to witness it, so I'm sure you already knew about it. The doctors told me that it'll take some time for her to fully recover, though they don't know exactly how long." "..." Agoti seemed worried. How long would it take for Sarv to heal? Would she ever make it? So many thoughts were racing through his mind. "I spoke with Dad earlier, and Sarvente's Daddy Dearest's sister, which still surprises me considering the stark difference in personality and viewpoints. She had a strained relationship with him, not enjoying the fact that he made several people's lives miserable." "I never knew Old Man Double D had a sister..." Agoti remarked, surprised himself. "What's happened with Tabi?" Aldryx went silent for a brief moment before replying, "I'm not sure, but he's still out there. He's probably out for Sarvente's and your blood at this point, maybe even me and Dad for letting her be with you in the first place..." "Seems like I got some training to do then..." Agoti chimed in, concerned about Tabi killing him, his family, and his lover. "I hope Sarv recovers..." "Me too..." Aldryx said. "I know you'll miss her." "... hey, Dryx?" "Hm? What's up, bro?" "I have an idea. Follow me." Agoti told Aldryx, walking over to his music studio. Aldryx followed him in, inquiring, "What's your idea?" "How about we record us singing a song for Sarv and send it to her?" "That's... a pretty good suggestion, Agoti. Let's do it." "Sweet!" Agoti exclaimed. "And I have just the track too!" He passes Aldryx a spare microphone before summoning one in his hand. "Alright, in 3..." "2..." "1..." "GO!!" The brothers both shouted as Agoti started up Awake and Alive's instrumental and Aldryx began the recording. "Anytime, brother," Aldryx replied with a smile. "You're car's in the driveway, by the way." "Sweet! I'll be heading back to the church now. See you around!" Agoti waved goodbye to Aldryx and walked outside. He entered his Lamborgini and drove back to the church.
