Cant we use these and advance them so they protect us against the newst space bacteria which are immune to everything but we make it eat that and process it out as a healthy nutrient so these space bacterias die because yko they grow rapidly they can form a cube of bacteria in 2 seconds

From the invention of the internet to today, and similarly from the invention of the smartphone to today, mortality rates related to starvation and preventable diseases, such as those caused by poor hygiene and unsafe water, have seen significant changes. In 1983, global efforts were already underway to reduce hunger and improve sanitation, but mortality from preventable causes, such as diarrheal diseases, respiratory infections, and malnutrition, was still high, particularly in low-income countries. At that time, diseases linked to poor sanitation, hygiene, and unsafe drinking water were major killers, especially among children under five. By the time smartphones emerged (around 2007), advancements in water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH) programs were starting to make an impact. However, preventable diseases still claimed millions of lives. As of 2015, an estimated 1.7 million deaths were attributed annually to unsafe water, sanitation, and hygiene practices, with children in low-income countries bearing the brunt. The introduction of technology helped in tracking and responding to outbreaks, but challenges remained, especially in rural and underserved areas. Today, while progress has been made, these problems persist. In 2022, preventable diseases related to inadequate WASH still caused significant deaths, especially in regions lacking infrastructure. For example, diarrheal diseases and respiratory infections, particularly in children, remain leading causes of death, especially in sub-Saharan Africa and parts of South Asia. Despite these ongoing issues, mortality rates have decreased compared to 40 years ago due to improvements in sanitation, clean water access, and public health interventions. Preventable diseases and hunger are still global concerns, but the proliferation of smartphones and the internet has allowed for better monitoring, faster emergency responses, and broader education on these issues, contributing to the gradual reduction in mortality rates caused by starvation and hygiene-related diseases. That's all I need to hear to know any suggestion of them making us dumber is the dumbest thing a person can say.

What a waste of time and resources. I mean, how exactly is it going to be beneficial for anyone? Later, at some point in time, everyone will know the spelling of almost every word he asks. Why waste so much time preparing kids for such useless competitions? Another way to feel better about oneself, I guess.
