I'm not convinced that those two hippos were eating the zebra.

John , Is Boswell the only Elephant left who stands up on his hindlegs .? We did have the privilege of seeing him when we visited Mana pools about 8 years ago ,although he didn't have a collar at that time . Incredible place to go Also what is the cause of the baby Elie's having the deformities with their hindlegs ..Maureen

for those who don't know what the lion hunting is, it was a topi antelope. Their usually roamed near the wildebeest herds. Most commonly the topi antelope usually hunted by cheetah.

Wonderful trip ! What are the rules in the Lower Zambezi about getting out of the vehicle to shoot? I know you can do it in Mana Pools, but I wasn't aware it was allowed in Lower Zambezi as well.

Very nice. I also like to add-in a very subtle vignette, to increase the sense of 3-D and direct the viewer’s eyes towards the subject.

The confusion about ISO (pronounced 'eye-soh' according to the International Organization for Standardization) is that people think that it's something that it is not - because so many popular sources get it wrong. ISO is just a guide to setting exposure - an 'exposure index' in the jargon. Exposure is determined by scene luminance, shutter speed and f-number and it's low exposure not 'ISO' that causes the noise. If you don't have much scene luminance, need a fast shutter speed and have as low an f-number as you have what are you going to do? You've got more chance of a workable shot if you press the shutter button than if you don't, so you press it and see what you can do with it.

Late arrival to this news and having only just recently learnt about the very special, but rare Tuskers who still roam this planet, makes me all the more sad that the world has lost such a magnificent Titan of the savannah. This video and the photos and footage that exist of him are all we now have left to remember the life of Tusker Tim who clearly left his dusty footprints on the hearts and minds of so many who admired him. RIP big boy😢

Well, nature is cruel. They didn’t just kill that prey. . . they terrorized it first.
@WildEye6 ай бұрын
Not an easy ending at all. But very valuable lessons for the young cheetah. Often, we find the mother will eventually kill the prey due to the cubs taking too long and potentially attracting other predators.
