Thanks for this video! Super helpful. 1 question - if I did not remove the ride height control sensor would that cause issues with the new springs not being able to get full length? I did the conversion on my sequoia however the 12mm bolts for the ride height sensor were pretty corroded and couldn’t get them off. I bottom out going slow over speed bumps and other road irregularities and it rides rougher than expected. I replaced shocks as well. We just cut one of the air lines but I’m thinking that wasn’t enough.

I ordered the kit you shared but the rear shocks i have are different then the one you installed on you video, having a hard time tightening it due to rotation when ratcheting, found out there is flat part of the stem at the top to grip and prevent rotation but there is no cleareance at the top, just wanted to post and share my experience, im still trying to find a solution

Isn’t this a downgrade? I was able to replace the airbags in the suspension for about 150 bucks from eBay. That was two years ago and still riding great.

Two things I’d do differently: (1) Invest in a high quality respirator, especially if you’re going to paint indoors. You’ll be surprised as to the amount of toxin the paint releases. (2) Spray the paint on a practice sheet to clear any blockage. The dip tends to block the nozzle when dried.

What can you do if you break one of the sides of the clips holding the top grill cover, that’s mounted to the middle bumper unit?

Another point of advice here. When tightening the pivoting parts like the lower shock bolts and lower control arm bolts don't torque them down until the full weight of the vehicle is pressing down one them. This is because rubber bushings tightened down on without the full load on the pivoting points will break free from their surrounds inside the the shock or control arms. This is a must on any replacement suspension parts coming from me an ASE certified steering and suspension expert. So don't follow these instructions to their fullest.

Just for future reference the very first thing this guy loosened wasn't the tie rod it was the sway bar end link.
