Is this a problem only at 60p? Does the same thing happen at say 24 or 30?

Hello! I see that you are not using your Top Handle. Can I ask which microphone you use? I guess you need a microphone that has it own phantom power? I have tried very basic microphones without the top handle but I dont get any sound.

As an old Fujifilm XT4 user and someone who usually records in 1080p, I can say that it is impossible to work in 1080p on the Sony A6600.

How tf do you tell the difference? They look the exact same

Did you say at 10% it still went 2-21/2 hours longer? Mine said 10% left after 2 1/2 hours charge

Not worth it i think. One can use reverse s curve in camera. Watch the highlights and grade it to rec in post with a bit of tint and bpm 1/4. Or degausse.

Do you know if you can replace battery.. One of my Mevos will not charge past 10% ... I think a fast solution is just to connect and external battery but that is sort of sloppy...

great video! question if you weren't doing the quadrants and just wanted one big section like 15x15 foot would you just butt up the struts to eachother ? would that work or how would you go about doing that? thanks in advance if you see this and can answer.

Update: The new a6700 video is also soft, continuing Sony's tradition of poor 1080p. My DJI Action 4 takes way cleaner 1080p than my new Sony a6700. To get the best 1080p out of Sony, it's a must to downsample the video which is time-consuming and presumes the user will edit his video.

can you stream to Facebook Pages? It only shows Profiles and Groups.

The reason for this low quality 1080p is that most sony cameras don’t have a stacked sensor which enables HQ 1080p and 4K 60p

this was a failure for me. i could never get it to look better than the camera was already doing. i spent months fiddling with it. ive been in the tv business for 30 years and it never did much. took forever to balance every time ending up sitting in case and selling it for half what i paid. TOTAL FAILURE for me.

I have the a6600 and I usually shoot in 4k because of the 1080p quality. Today I recorded a Christmas program at work, and I was amazed on how crappy the video looks. That's how I started looking for someone talking about this problem to see if I was doing something wrong because the quality was so bad.

Is there any way I can connect it to obs wirelessly? I want to use it for cooking streams

I have both. The GH5S is better. IBIS is useless on mounted cams on vehicles etc and the 6k is no biggie compared to the exceptional low light performance of the GH5S. With the GH5 i feel i can only really use it half of the day and not at night when i like to shoot the most esp in low light conditions

The trick to getting great 1080p is to push the shutter speed to triple and it will increase sharpness and motion blur . When I shoot in 1080p 60 instead of having the shutter speed at 1/125 I set it to 1/250 and 1080p on par and even better 080p than cameras that are excellent at 1080p .

I just tried out the camshade with my Lumix GH5s and it's too hard to handle. And without a riser, it's worthless for most lenses. Thanks for the assessment, Michael. Now I'm definitely sure to send it back.

What camera are you using to shoot this video?

I don't like it, but it's hard to get around it. It's generally those bloopers that you hope to get in a still, that will usually show in video.

Biggest advantage for me is that it is small so u can be more creative making shots like going through small gaps which u cant do with phones and the image stabilizor is very reliable compared to even flagship phones where u sometimes still face some minor issues.

We are a church wanting to livestream to multiple locations using a “Mevo Start”. So far we have the camera connected to our sound board and are currently able to livestream our services live on Facebook. We decided that we want to livestream to Multiple Destinations i.e., facebook and KZbin. So on the mevo app and after having connected to the camera we slide the "Multiple Destination" button to activate this option. After having don so a page that opened up telling us that we need to subscribe and pay for this service. We accepted the proposal and clicked to upgrade on the Vimeo Producer and paid $179.99 a year for the service. A new window opened up after that which says, "You're Currently subscribed to this. Your subscription to Vimeo Producer Anual renews on August 21, 2023 for $179.99. To review subscription options or cancel this subscription, tap MANAGE". But when we tap on manage then the next page says "Cannot connect" We keep on going on a closed circle and so far 10 days later are unable to stream to multiple destinations. If we are already subscribed why can't we stream to multiple destinations? What are we doing wrong? Or what do we need to do to correct this problem and be able to livestream for multiple locations?
