Thanks. I surprised myself with this one. I asked my fingers to find the right notes to play -- and my fingers said, "Sure." Believe it or not, I played this with hardly any practicing -- right off the bat. Way to go, fingers. You make me proud.

it's worth the treble to tune the ukulele to a bass tuning, you won't get in treble

thanks for asking. i play by ear. for me, it's fun figuring out what notes to play. i do so via trial and error, before shooting the video.

thanks for asking. i recently had a successful liver transplant, so i got prodded quite a bit in my two weeks in hospital. but i'm doing just fine now. quickly healing. view my Encore Hospital Concert for some fun.

thanks, paula. my healing is progressing very nicely. wondering -- do you know any ukulele players who work in the dc libraries? i'd love to meet them - if they exist. to my mind, ukes can be a tool for weaving social fabric. we could use some more of that right about now.

I had a year in the ICU, 39 surgeries, and a 6 month coma after my heart stopped for 10 minutes... but.. Got Better (smile) and was able to teach music science and luthier projects with our local school Be strong my distant friend and keep the Music playing, and never give up! RESPECT!
