He was the start of the decline in comedy in this country along with the likes of Ben Elton for whom now there is no nostalgia because they were just cynical base and crap. Even the laughter on this scetch is dubbed. Alexei Sayle was and will always be crap in my opinion.

How on earth is it "an awful sequence"? It isn't attacking black people, it's getting a laugh from white characters' silly efforts to imitate black people - emphasised by CJ taking it to the ridiculous extreme of dressing up as the most over-the-top and unrealistic imitation, an old-style minstrel.

I stayed on at work for 3 days a week / 7 hours a day Its working perfect for me. I love my 4 days off but i still keep in touch with my colleagues who some ive worked with over 30 years It scared me the thought of full retirement- i just wanted to feel relevant still

@@kph1034 Whatever works for you. I was always of the mindset to work to live rather than live to work. As soon as I could I decided to go my own way - I've have the option of volunteering or getting a part time job if I find the days are hard to fill.
