what's up with this fashion of making it a different color, calling it limited edition and charging a lot more for it...... 5 octs is nice, but otherwise it's 3x the price of the original Wavestate and not really that much different.

Crap 6 pads what are they smoking sounds horrible great video but it sounds sooooo bad
@Royvdl19 күн бұрын
It's not just 6 pads. It's 8 banks of 6 samples. And with chopping you can assign 16 sounds to 1 pad. You could put an entire drumkit under 1 pad

..and how it sounds is down to the discretion of the producer. I like his sonic choices myself. This is a subjective thing.

The one thing I find annoying about all the demos of the Muse is that basically every single patch, people are using the delay a lot. I would like to hear patches set of effects.

I love that you guys are carrying the 3rd Wave and that you let us go through an explanation of this with you! And since shooting this at NAMM, the 3rd Wave now also has sampling added in! The PPG Waveterm B and beyond - 16 bit, 12 bit, or 8 bit, sample rates from 48KHz to 10KHz, and up to eight samples at once across the keyboard. So now any of the three oscillators can do sampling, PPG wavetables, auto-generated user wavetables, and straight analog. Everything you are hearing in this video plus sampling - dig that groove!

@mattypaxton3 ай бұрын
it is in an interesting price point, more than the entry kevel Minilogue's/Reface CS/Roland JUO6a/Hydrasynth , but then it is less than a more fully featured and full size key Sequential Take 5/TEO-5. My personal feeling is that I love that it is a simplistic design with sweet spots across the full range of knobs and faders. Sometimes i wish more synths would keep things as simple and focused as this. Lastly keep in mind that the team that makes this synth is a team of 2 in Oakland in California 🤷♂️❤️❤️

@@mattypaxton Oh… I didn‘t know it‘s a two man company. Perhaps at this point it‘s not very fair to compare them with big business companies like Roland, Moog or Yamaha. With this new perspective I wish them good luck.
