i am LOVING her new sound!!! and destinydaydreamxo was correct. fun fact: the terminology "EP" and "LP" started with record albums. EP was usually singles, but sometimes people would release a promotion (usually for an upcoming album) on EP. LPs were mainly full length albums (which lasted an average of 40 to 50 minutes, like most of todays CDs)

An EP is a smaller album. It's mainly used for newer artists so they can get more of their music out there before their album comes out so they can get more album sales. Some of the time it features songs that didn't make it on the actual album itself.
