It is the same. No matter how many stitches are your foundation chain. The technique is the same: leaving the two stitches undone. And do as many repeats of blocks as you need to cover your head

I don’t really get it after the first block. Do we do the 44,42,40,30,36,34 pattern again? Or just slip-stitch till the end??

The yarns thickness and crochet hook size directly impact the size of the final project. Bigger hook typically means bigger final piece.

Hi, thank you very much, I am going to start as soon as my I finish my scarf, however, I don’t understand the explanation of 16:40 that I need to repeat row 1 - 12 for total of 7 times, does it mean I also need to skip 2 loops in every time I go back to that part? Thank you

You forgot row 1 is 44 slst & row 4 should be 40 sts instead of 42. So 12 rows should be should be 44, 42, 42, 40, 40, 38, 38, 36, 36, 34, 34, 44 ❤
