Had my first MD in 8 months on left side and reherniated my right side 6 months later, I'm 2 months post MD and my right side is pain free but I got a slight pain at the buttock on the left side again! Any ideas?

Make sure you follow your physicians at Physical therapist orders, but you probably should wait for two weeks after surgery.

Trying to frame Trump as "weak" or "whiney" a month after he was shot in the head on live television and his reaction was to pump his fist, with blood steaming down his face, yelling "FIGHT, FIGHT, FIGHT", is probably not going to catch on. That reaction is not one of a whiny coward. This is a stupid avenue of attack.

Dr. Bridgeman and his nurse practitioner TJ have been absolutely amazing. Saw them in the Lake Ozark office. I had an unfortunate accident with a table saw while making Christmas trees. I thought I cut my thumb off completely. However, Dr. Bridgeman food an amazing job at fixing my thumb. He explained things very well and thoroughly. Helped me to understand what was going on the whole step of the way. I ended up having a pin out in and when it was tone to take it out, I hardly felt a thing. I appreciated both his truth and positivity. Made me feel like I was in good hands. Definitely not someone I hope to see very often but so grateful for his him and TJ. Highly recommend! Couldn't ask for anyone better.

Thank you very much, Doctor. Two years ago, I sustained a bruise in the spinal cord during a disc surgery in the neck of the 5-6 vertebra, by mistake of the surgeon. The case was diagnosed after a while as causing cervical myelopathy, causing many neuromuscular and mental health problems. These problems exceeded to A good degree and a large part of the movement was restored and I found some other symptoms. My question is why did my condition deteriorate after two years of injury despite its improvement, what caused the symptoms to return, knowing that I had a new MRI and it appeared normal without a new disc,

Dear Dr. Ben Holt, I'm Steven Stryker from NJ. Dr. I had several discs removed, ld-5 and lower when I was 27. I'm now 63. Back then fusion was completed by removing pieces of hip/pelvic bone. MY 10/21 MRI revealed that due to back disease, that my coxex is tightening around my central nervous system, Also, I had contracted Addison Disease several ago. I was advised that they didn't know how i was walking. I began working in 4th grade, at the time of my dad's death. And, I haven't stopped. I'm a retired las enforcement agent. Col. (Ret.) Military. Currently: Contractor for officials. I'm looking for help. I listened to your autobiography, which lead me to think that you can possibly help. I've been advised that no surgeries can help. Presently, I have been on morphine fro 15 years, 20 mg twice a day. Thank you

I am 57 years old, and was just diagnosed with cervical stenosis at C3- C5. Based on MRI, it is at its worst, 3mm. I have no bladder or bowel issues or gait issues- I am very active and don't have any pins and needles sensations, just mild stiffness and intermittent numbness in one hand. My orthopedist recomended a laminectomy, but I am scared- I am doing physical therapy. What would you recomend? I did have 1 bout of radiculopathy about 10 months ago, but it was in the lumbar region and went away on its own in a few days never to return. I am health conscious- walk 5 miles a day, and have a BMI of 20. I don't really want the down time and long recovery that goes with surgery. But at the same time, worry about how it could progress.

Annette-If you are happy where you are at, we suggest you should just watch. You can use Advil or Naproxen as needed. Without seeing films, it's hard for us to know. But if clinically you feel ok, we would suggest that you watch and wait. Also, you may benefit from ESI , if you haven't had one, before surgery is recommended.

Yes, great job doctor! He will improve your leg function by a few percent, but afterward you have no arm movement! Do you ask your patients prior to surgery whether they want use of their arms of their legs? This way they can decide whether or not to accept loss of ambulatory movement and live out their life in a wheelchair with NO pain, still able to have a life, or to get 10% improvement in one leg and not be able to feed themselves or wipe their own ass! Oh, and have constant pain! Yes, thank you so much for your HELP Doctor!

NO I haven't even thrown a baseball since surgery. You might have seen April 2017 video of me swinging. It's been 6 months and my back still hurts from standing around or sitting too much. Still have numbness in my left foot as well. Sort of hit a plateau recently not seeming to get any better but I have no leg PAIN.... so hoping that is good and the disc is still intact. I am hoping at the year mark I can start throwing Batting Practice again but no swinging for sure.

I tried the Epidural Injections did not do a thing but heard others had good relief with those. Might be worth checking out. I would ask you how much are you sleeping per night?
@shmackatrotsky53946 жыл бұрын
Enrique Tims Just went through a disc herniation nightmare at L5S1. I ended up having a MD after 4 months of barely being able to walk. The 2 epidural injections did very little for me. The surgery has been successful thus far, 6 weeks out, but my left leg (the one that had sciatica) still has some residual pain. It is a much milder pain, though. I can walk 2 or 3 miles per day now, but cannot do any exercises besides some mild PT exercises to strengthen the core/back. Good luck to you!
@KBradAdams6 жыл бұрын
I am 6 months post Micro and can now do these exercises and some days I can't. Best thing to do is take it easy and keep walking. I also still have numbness and residual pain in my left calf and foot but hoping by a year out it goes away. Good luck to you on your recovery.
@shmackatrotsky53946 жыл бұрын
KB Adams My left thigh and buttock get these twinges of pain when I do certain movements while walking. It is freaky and for a split second it feels like my leg is going to give out and that I'll fall over. I think it is my sciatic nerve having been damaged. I hope it goes away with targeted exercises/stretches. I know that I will never get back to 100% normal, and that I am looking at 1 to 2 years of taking it easy with a restricted exercise plan. Good to hear you are doing better and that you can do some of these exercises now! I wonder when I will be able to get back to the McKenzie/cobra stretch. I miss that one, but it still hurts to bend my lumbar backwards or forwards, even just a little.
