There is nothing wrong with tithing But There is something wrong with That pastors of the church Using it To guilt trip Other people into tithing Or Put scriptures on Screen About tithing so they can give. I may not have a lot of money but there's many things I can do that doesn't cost money for me to give with a cheerful heart instead of just feeling obligated to do it because if I'm feeling obligated then I truly won't be doing it with a cheerful heart. You can volunteer, you can help people in the streets such as kind gestures or even giving canned foods to the poor and even being nice to people because you genuinely want to be nice and listening or calling people that is a form of giving! If people feel led to give then they can give but just know that people who don't have a big income can give in other ways. Joe is right we can't just give just for the sake of being saved but with the faith and giving with a cheerful heart is what matters! I'm not sure where it was in the Bible but someone was giving burnt offerings but it meant nothing to God because the heart was not right. Also there is a story in Matthews about the Pharisees and the tax collector and the Pharisees said thank God I'm not like these people but yet he had so much pride in his heart and that's why God did not hear it! The tax collector was saying Lord have mercy on me which he showed humility because he was repenting and was pouring his heart out to God. That's why God answered and listened to the tax collector because his heart was in the right place! Pride comes before destruction and the exalted will be humbled and the humble will be exalted!

I dont struggle so much with my own trials, but I am so heart broken because of the facto that so many will not repent but perish. I know this is their decision however this often robs me of joy. Can you relate? God also must be forever sad because of that. I dont find a solution to this so far.😢

Another form of science falsely so called is the heliocentric spinning ball cosmology. This basically says the Bible is wrong in regards to Genesis 1:6-9. NASA and their lies challenges the very description God (and every ancient culture) gave us about the world on the first page of the Bible. Thank you Joe!

To Pastor Joe. What is your opinion of Dr. Hugh Ross. I listened to a video of his on another subject, then he let the cat out of the bag, that he believes in millions upon millions of years of evolution. I know a lot of Christians will respect his opinion.. I got a strange feeling about him ever since.. ( pastor Joe, Chad..Please can you comment. Thanks )
@mogrowneyiv73064 күн бұрын
Well I’m not Joe or Chad. But I’ll say this, I believe in Biblical Cosmology (flat earth) however I understand that not everyone will come to this important realization. So I just use discernment when mining for truth from different pastors and simply prefer not to listen to people who are apologists for science falsely so called. A little bit of chewing the meat and spiting out the bones is required. I listen to some people I don’t like because for my research purposes I need to hear what they have to say. But I only give them my ear, not my heart. I hope this helps. idk lol

Evolution is a lie. The earth is not millions of years old. The science of dating is very inexact. But the bible casts it down. Death did not exist before the fall.

Is there any example in the Bible of a good tree that bears good fruit turning bad? Imagine telling Spirit filled born again believers that are fully committed to suffering for Jesus and have rejected this world system that they may also have the heavy burden of falling away. Not good. Bringing much confusion & hurt to the saints. Please be clear that you are not saying this.
@John-pv3ob5 күн бұрын
They received joy they did not bring forth lasting joy, the plants that fall away never bring good fruit.
@John-pv3ob5 күн бұрын
If you believe at first but reject the essence of Jesus, which is suffering thru tribulation in this world, then did you ever fully believe or just believe superficially? can someone be partially saved at first, no...therefore they were never really of us because they bring no good fruit. A tree is known by its fruit, and that is how you know if someone is truly saved. A bad tree can not bring good fruit.
@John-pv3ob5 күн бұрын
This parable shows you that those who reach the point of bringing good fruit can never fall away but can only be pruned.
@John-pv3ob5 күн бұрын
This parable is showing you that the others were never really Saved because they did not believe past the point of tribulation and dth to this wrld. Think about this honestly, because the once saved always saved debate can be endless and it needs to stop. We must use the Words Jesus used. Those who believe at first but can't handle trib or giving up this world, those were never really of us and never really saved.

Engaging God’s will, and not lobbying for the flesh’s desires, has its blessings. If one believes God will keep him from much… he’ll trust Him in much. Isn’t that what the Psalms express? As one grows in grace and knowledge of Jesus Christ… shouldn’t much approach everything (Philippians 4:4-13)?

Can someone help me draw the line between being merciful and calling out false teachers? I hate what is evil. I don’t hate the people but my wife says she’s worried about my judgment because I don’t really extend much mercy to those who are. I just see all these false teachers and lukewarm “Christians” and decent people of faith don’t see it and it irks me greatly. I can’t rebuke these people in person for obvious reasons so I do it to the people who will listen. Is it true that “The shepherd has one voice for the sheep and another for the wolves?”
@mogrowneyiv730611 күн бұрын
Also I know to speak the truth in love, but that’s more about evangelism and not shoving things down peoples throat. I don’t see any instance of false prophets or pharisees or gnostics in the Bible getting such a gentle hand as some people ask for.

My best friend doesn’t understand my excitement for the trying times to come (we're in the US)... I grew up on testimony after testimony, probably hundreds if not thousands of testimonies, of people being led by God through the various horrific trials in the USSR - where my family is from. I feel like I lived through a lot of what they had and constantly meditate on the ways God led them, comforted them, justified them, took care of them, etc. and always expect myself and my family to someday go through similar things in His will. Back then, there was a CLEAR distinction between God's and the World's, even with the many spies from the KGB! God would reveal the deceitful ones in the midst through the Holy Spirit, would command mice to bring food to families, do miraculous healings and other amazing miracles, and THE PEOPLE FEARED GOD!!! I live very comfortably now, but try to always remind myself to stay grounded in the Word and prepare myself for the time to come!

Yep, I came out of a King James only/IFB 'repeat this prayer for OSAS' cult, they justify the wicked because they once repeated a prayer, even if they were children not having a clue who God is!
