I live in NJ and the Summer temperatures outside average of 90+ degrees Fahrenheit and any temperature that is above 90 degrees Fahrenheit expect your house at 75-78. But if I get my own apartment or studio apartment I’ll set it too 73-77 degrees average. And winter I’ll won’t turn my heat on in the fall or sometime winter 🥶 and if I turn the heat on I’ll keep it at 67-65 degrees.

I love when people use the 10 or 15 square-foot rule for mold because they literally pulled it out of their ass. It’s nowhere in the s520.

Your videos are so helpful! Thank you! As for the steps you outlined: if I smell mold in the bathroom but can’t see its source do I start with a Mold Assesment with Independant labs? In NC mold remediation is not licensed so many of the companies that do the testing also do the remediation which is a conflict of interest. Or do I hire a contractor to open up the bathroom and find the source of the mold first and then the mold assessment? Thanks for your help!

Hi!!!! This water damage 10k limit in Citizens covers AC leak and malfunction? If so, clan I file a claim if I already changed the unit?

I live in Phoenix, AZ and in dry heat. It’s 110 to 115 degrees all summer. I just left for work for 2 months and turned off my AC. I live in a new condo. I hope I did the right thing 🤦🏻♂️

I live in Buckeye. My neighbor who used to live in Palm Springs says that he has turned his A/C off all summer while he was gone. He said he hasn't had any problems in over 20 years of doing this. His isn't running right now and it is 100. I guess I will have a better answer when he gets back in the fall.

Good Lord, you’re overexplaining the obvious. And let’s basically face it the goal is to keep the mold from growing on the indoor evaporator coil and that’s what it does very effectively which is going to get rid of most of the contaminants that are going to hurt people in the first place. How about you just make a video we’re not explaining like a fifth grader. You probably could’ve summed up this whole video in your opinion in about 30 seconds. Anyhow, great lighting on your video though maybe try the positive approach versus the negative Nancy on your next video. And here at the end of the video, you’re acting like you’re selling something extra special when you’re probably just selling a regular UVC light which automatically creates the ozone and other air cleansing agents. Oh my God people if you’re watching this, please do your research on UVC. 😂😂😂

💯 certain that the occupants of this property have been sick with respiratory & neurological issues. Most people are clueless to mold issues. A ton of property mgrs are negligent in this area simply because they're more focused on the 🤑...than people's health. This must change. Great video. I will be reaching out to you guys for more insight to provide to my audience. Cheers!

Great video. What happens if you removed and threw away the rotten cabinets without pictures and then file a claim for water damage. Will the insurance company fix the the water damage wall and also compensate for the cabinets ?
@TheIHVPNetwork Жыл бұрын
🤔Unlikely. Go for it anyways. Rule of future thumb...always take pictures. Any sign of damage of any kind, take photos. 👍🏾

i am seeing your video after the fact that I put in a claim for water damage and mold in my kitchen. I am glad that I told them what the cause was a water leak. It was a dish washer drain hose that cracked at the top of the bend. It might have been going on for a long time and only now did we see a water leak. To protect my family, I started to take apart the cabinets and found black mold and deteriorating cabinet structures. Thank you for your advice.

How about for renters? Does it cover cover or ins company usually goes back the landlord or owner?
My mole and water medigation cost me 19k that is way too high they keep coming by turning on fans and blower I keep turning off

Most of the time NO they don't. Under pre existing conditions excuses. I work in Water restoration working claims. It's rare that Mold is paid. Very rare. The best bet is having your service representative talk to insurance. They know what verbage to use. Or should.

I am currently renting a house. I’ve felt like I’ve been getting sick from mold after we had a water pipe break so I got an ERMI test done because the landlord wouldn’t get back to me. The army score was 7.8 and showed some aspergillus and other harmful molds. How can I get the landlord to pay for mold remediation? It wasn’t our fault that multiple water pipes broke in our property.

Franchise or not, companies use industry standard pricing software to price jobs based on the specific measurement of the affected area. Franchise or not, if done correctly, the price difference is minimal.

A public adjuster reduces your settlement, because P.A. take a percentage.
@ecotekpro78972 жыл бұрын
Thanks for your comment. Yes a PA takes a fee, however in virtually all cases even accounting for their fee, the home owner will still receive more than if they went at it alone with the carrier. Here is just one of the many studies conducted on the subject: In 2010, the state of Florida OPPAGA office conducted an in-depth, statewide examination of the insurance industry and how the growing number of public adjusters were affecting property damage claims, insurance companies and homeowners’ insurance claims in the state of Florida. The OPPAGA report found that: Homeowners who submitted claims on their own received an average $2,029 vs. an average of $17,187 when represented by a public adjuster. Using a public adjusting service, homeowners saw an average increase of 747% in their homeowners’ insurance payout.
