Once again - I have learned much through your communication with us.... though a different hurricane - Ian displaced me from Siesta Key in much the similar manner - what I didn't understand at time, but what you so importantly made clear to me in a private message....."Life is hardest when the change we need, can't come any other way" Struck the chord of understanding and realization..... and thus provided Peace and acceptance....because now with hindsight.... I see how true this was. I just looked it up and if you can swing it, it’s not that expensive to take a cat to Hawaii. Things have changed. They just need a microchip and a titer saying they are immune to rabies/ or a rabies shot and booster. Yes it’s a doctors visit and the shots or titer and microchip, but she may already have a microchip. So in other words, it might only be a couple of hundred dollars if you could swing it to take her with you because I know you think it’ll be hard for her to survive the trip but I think it might be more devastating for her to lose her mother since birth. Not trying to put extra pressure on you, but I’m just being honest. Also, there’s a good chance she can stay under your seat in the plane and not have to go in cargo…. I know it’s a lot. I’m just trying to give ideas in case you needed help. PS, please put up a GoFundMe and use your longtime YT channel as a sort of reference to show that you’re a real person and not fake. You might get some strangers who don’t otherwise know you that are on GoFundMe just looking to help.

Oh I just changed my LinkedIn page to go back into food management. After teaching college for 17 yrs. The last 3 yrs I could not get another job to use my education skills. Ava, call the city and see if you can get any or all of your money back for the beach fee of $1200. As well, I think it’s fair to say you have been displaced due to the hurricanes so you might be able to get special Welfare/ disaster type money for being displaced. Go and get all that you can. And please ask the people in Hawaii if they could make an exception and allow your cat there. I’m sure you’ve already asked, but try again.

Can you bring your cat to Hawaii and try to find someone in Hawaii to take him even temporarily.

Wish I had funds to send you or a way to help your cat. Sounds like the mechanic took advantage of you but that’s moot now. Regarding the beach where you led yoga sessions, is there a way you can apply for a refund of that $1600 you paid since you can’t work on the beach? I pray you land on your feet and are able to rehome your cat.

I’ve watched your videos for years and you are due some support from me! Just sent a donation. My mom lives in Venice and brother in Sarasota. I feel for you. Unfortunately neither can take your cat but I know there is someone who can - and one who could watch her until you get on your feet again.
