This tournament starts in the next round for the top players. I'm looking forward to the rest of the tournament and restocking the popcorn. As for Mirra, we all know that Sabalenka and others have blasted her off the court but you need to account for Conchita Martinez effect and the other learning that she has had just over the past few months. Looking at her the other night against the super experienced Azarenka did not make me worried about her speed.

Didn't Potapova have to be warned by the WTA about her future conduct when she appeared on court in a Spartak Moscow shirt at the start of the war in Ukraine to send a message to the Ukrainian girls?
