The blind man's ability to see and believe Jesus in contrast to the religious leaders who were blinded to see Christ Jesus for who He really is! May we be healed from religious blindness

Oh my goodness. I traveled with a band in the 1970s (Living Sound) We worked in the Roman Catholic Church in Poland and there met Fr McNutt. His healing ministry was amazing. We later learned that he left the priesthood and had married. How wonderful to hear his wife, Judith!

I plan on eventually going to Trinity School for Ministry to get my Master's Degree in Divinity. When that time finally comes, it's a shame that Fr. Thompson won't be the dean president anymore. I think I would have enjoyed studying at Trinity with him as my main guide.

Insight to the meaning of scripture based on historical context is PRICELESS! Thank you so much for making and posting these videos for the masses. Sharing this knowledge with the "layperson" is as life changing as the printing press and mass access to the Bible was.

One thing I've always wished would be pointed out regarding repentance is this. Of course, we all know repentance is a duty. But how many of us also know that, before it is a duty, it is a gift...a gift of opportunity, an open door, an invitation to be freely forgiven. Poor Esau, we are told, sought this gift of opportunity with tears! But, alas, it was too late. How have we allowed Satan to utterly upend the truth on us, to turn truth into a lie, light into darkness, opportunity into a bitter pill that must be swallowed? Why would any fool suppose that God will be pleased to grant forgiveness though we reject repentance? Do we suppose the Prodigal Son's father would have received his son in the same manner had his son returned with his whores and drinking buddies in tow? When John the Baptist preached repentance it was received as Good News that there was still time to repent. His hearers gladly stepped into the Jordan. I should think there was not to be found one disgruntled, begrudging baptizee in the bunch. To the clueless, pagan question: "Have I GOT to repent?" the answer must always be: "For heaven's sake, no! By no means! You GET to repent!" Indeed, no one else is even allowed in the water.

33:00 Audrey Assad plays "Eden" In the winter of our discontent In the ruins of our monuments An ancient light appearing Into every deadly plot we've laid Into all our bitterness and hate A kindness ever nearing Over every war we've ever waged Over every prophet we have slain A peace past understanding Out of all our chosen misery Out of all our misplaced loyalties A heaven in the making Eden's gates swing open to us now We'll turn every weapon to a plow For every sin a pardon Every field of wildflowers left to seed Every forest filling up with green There is healing in the garden Healing in the garden Healing in the garden

This was much needed. Wes' point on how "if he will relinquish now, he will receive in the future more than he has relinquished" reminds me of Christ's words in Mark 10:28-30. That was such a strengthening thought. Thank you!
