I know this is not the forum but why is Caribbean airlines not flying directly from DC to some Caribbean countries? There are a lot of West Indians that live in the dmv and have to be subjected to the scorn of United airlines. Please do something about it.

The flight attendants are great. Friendly smiling helpful. But that is where the happy experience ends DouDou. The ground staff were unfriendly, and at times a little hostile. I was flying POS to TAB, and by chance i noticed baggage handlers outside in the distance loading a luggage cart. I saw a young man take up a dark coloured suitcase and slam it into the ground. It wasn’t by accident , it was very much intentional. I was shocked to witness this. He then loaded the suitcase onto the cart with other bags and brought the cart to our plane. Well… when we got to TAB, while waiting for my dark coloured, hard sided suitcase i was horrified when i saw my suitcase. It was a mangled mess. The cover barely closed, it was twisted and scuff marked in several places. And it was then I realized that the young man i saw mishandling a piece of luggage… slamming it into the ground… was handling mine. I managed to realign the suitcase so that i closed better… only one of the locks now worked. I called to Carib Air to complain…. That was in 2016… i am still waiting for a call back… its now 2023. I would love to visit my country of birth. But once you stop off the plane and exit the airport, the experience, the treatment you receive in many businesses is horrible, unprofessional and embarrassing. Since 2016 I’ve been to Argentina twice, Iceland, Ecuador, Spain, and Cuba… in those countries, I never experienced the horrors in those place, like i did on that trip to Tdad.
