I’m agree with you. Now is too distorted and also he only plays fast and I didn’t see too much melodies. For me was okay till the Korg oasys lead tone.

You could probably gather the isolated tracks except for the vocals of each song on this channel and combine them. I don't think they've uploaded the whole album on this channel though. That's what I do

It sounds like the guitar playing was mixed in stereo. How do you get stereo guitar sound for live performance? There is only one Petrucci. I'm really curious.

For live, he has two amps, and one of them gets delayed by something like 7 milliseconds, and then they're hard panned left and right.

fact: the backing vocals for this particular album were recorded by a lot of people including Clive Nolan, and the band member themselves. All of them, Herman, Sam, Vadim, Dave and Fred
