How much you think it cost to see this show? $10?
@Newspace16327 ай бұрын
Yeah no more than $10 for sure.

@mymusicaljesus6 ай бұрын
$5-$8 @ most. A few years ago I found some old venue show flyer from 1999 in some boxes I had and it's WILD to see the prices being like $4 for some punk shows with bigger bands doing shows up to $10.

They opened for Built to Spill with Flake (The Shins) for $5 a few months before this show in Albuquerque.

I go way back to the beginning of CNJ. Went to high school with everyone except Davey. Their early shows were more lively than this one. I was there. This was the last time I saw them before they split up. There was a vibe that night. The band was red hot but they looked to be in a mood. Same with the audience. They also played at 1am. Very late. We all were paying attention and listening. This was the first time I heard these songs, which was a bit of departure for some of us. So cool to see this up. Brings back memories

Braid and Cinco de Gatos also played this show. The date was June 3 1995. 28 years ago, today. It was the late show started at 11:30pm. Not many people were there. Elastica played the early show and were backstage watching this.

Just last week, my sister and I were in my car, driving, and Waiting Room came on my playlist and her eye lit up. "Is this Fugazi!? This was like my 90s right here!" I told her how I had just discovered them about 4 years ago. I was at a Metallica concert and before the show they were just playing some rock over the arena sound system. The crowd was loud that night with talking and chanting before the show began. I heard a song, just barely, but i sounded pretty kick ass. My phone was able to listen and could pick up enough to tell me it was Fugazi's Waiting Room. Now, I could barely hear anything of the song, but what I did hear sounded cool. I got home gave the song a listen and bought the MP3 immediately. So she tells me, she saw Fugazi in 1995 in Indianapolis, and sent me this video. She is in the front row! Hey sis!
