I beg to differ to you Sir with regards to ACCA. 1 ACCA has been in partnership with Oxford Brookes University since 2000 offering students who would have completed the first nine exams a world class BSc degree, check times rankings and have an idea how well this University is regarded in the UK Furthermore, when you become an Affiliate, you can actually enroll for 6 month MSc degree with University of London, again check the rankings and see where it ranks 2 I do not understand the fact that you mention that ACCA is expensive, yet all you need is exam fees and annual subscriptions, you can use a whole lot of online free resources from the Applied Knowledge level to qualification. Once you're admitted into membership, you can negotiate your way through for your employer to actually pay for your annual membership fees depending with the value that you're bring into the entity 3 you actually have access to your exam transcript if you haven't paid your annual subscription fees though you won't have access to certificates 4&5 ACCA has introduced the My Performance Report, which gives an unsuccessful and successful student an outlay of how they performed 6 Again, tuition is option especially in a world where we have opentuition.com 7 if you have prior learning history what will be the point of starting at the applied knowledge level? Just to standardize a "professional qualification"?Well standards are for formal fundamental school ie primary and secondary school, further education on the other hand should be flexible as ACCA is, since it is not a crime to change careers at 50 or even start a career at 16 We call this initiative by ACCA, Thinking Ahead. So true .They should atleast build a software system for OT(multiple choice) where a printout is emailed to you to show which questions u got wrong and what was the right amswer .So we know where to build on.
