I’m trying to understand what this video is trying to show. I’m a DIY’er cause I cannot afford someone else to do the work. First this is sealing my basement from vapor and effervescent. Would hydrolock work?

I presume you would tank (waterproof) the wall before installing Plumbud, are there any issues with Plumbud adhering to the tanked wall?

Sorry Mike for this very belated response from Sealux. It is not necessary to tank the wall before installing the shower tray or bath (though one can). The wall membrane (liquid or fleeced matting) can be installed after installation of the shower tray or bath once it extends down 50mm over the strip upstand bonded to the wall.

polyester fabric or fibre glass fabric was installed dry should it not be installed with applying wp1 coat first generously and then apply the fabric when wet and then apply the wp1 coat on top of the fabric again..otherwise the fabric is dry from the inside only

The polyester tape is embedded in a wet under coat of BAL WP1 pre-applied on the wall as shown from 4:50 onward. The extract 4:10 - 4:35 simply shows the installer cutting/preparing the polyester tape before bonding it to wall l (4:50 onward).
