in my early 20's i worked overnight at a walgreens. the number of people i saw put back diapers or formula to buy cigarettes literally made me lose faith in people. I don't fully htink humanity is lost but we're sure speedrunning getting there.

During the holiday season, I used to volunteer for a toy distribution organization (like Toys for Tots). It was primarily meant for impoverished families that couldn't provide toys or other items for their children for Christmas. But occasionally we would have these absolutely disgusting people that would drive up in their pristine luxury cars, jump to the front of the line, claim to have 8 kids (we typically ask to see a birth certificate), load up their trunks (1 bag per child), and come back a day later for more. It's situations like this that make me question people's humanity. 😡

Most people are good people, it's just that the shitty ones stand out. In any group of people you're going to get a few. I can think of a few good examples; parents, cops, priests 😮, immigrants.

For me, if I were the boyfriend in this situation I would break up with the girl. It’s insane that they’ve been together for a year and she never disclosed this. Past relationships where you don’t see the other person are one thing, I can see that, but when you are best friends with your former friends with benefits, it’s really messy. It is something I could not personally deal with knowing. The fear of being cheated on with people so close to the situation that know your partner on a deeply physical level is frightening. Am I sounding insecure? Probably, but nonetheless I couldn’t be in that situation.

I had a friend who told her daughter if she ever saw money to grab it and bring it to her. Sure enough she said her daughter brought her $100. I thought to myself, if i told my minority child to do that, he could go to jail and her daughter would just get slap on the wrist and her mother knew it

This is part of the reason men don't want someone who's ran through(even if she actually cares about the current guy), because of situations like this. Props to her for actually caring about her boyfriend's feelings and not having the "just get over it already" mentality.

I worked at a restaurant/casino when i was a teen. People would come in all the time and have their kids sit in the restaurant section while they gambled. It would get late kids would get hungry and we would have to kick the parents out so they would stop neglecting their kids.

I worry about kids who are given gifts by different organizations and that these gifts are grabbed up and returned to stores for refunds. Refunds going for what parents want. Sad.

As soon as i read the title, i knew the lady was a tramp. You allowed your friends to have power over him. They think little of you they felt they could disrespect your boyfriend. Even if your boyfriend left then you should stop talking to them. Never befriend males you've had sex with. Your new partner will and should be insecure with them

She’s end game material. Ditched her loser friends after they messed up, took accountability on her mess up, gave her man the time and space he needed, helped him regain his confidence and even talked about how he felt more.

she dismissed the situation for an entire year pretending it never happened. While having the dude hanging out with her and all her friends. She talked about his personal feelings that he had in private with her, with her friends. It blew up in her face putting him in a bad situation. She sounds like trash you should take out. Weird that you say shes end game material while calling her friends losers. You have to ignore that those are the people she chose to be around and associate with to come to that conclusion. Birds of a feather,

This is just fucking traumatizing to do to your kid. Don’t fucking do it if they don’t feel like they are able to swim, but you just throwing them in a deep pool don’t fucking do it. That’s child endangerment if they ended up almost dying or maybe attempted murder of a child. And you already know what they do to these types of people that end up with charges that are bad and have kids involved. You would be treated like a PDF file if you hurt kids or murdered a kid the prison system has a better justice system than the judges.

I was on a pool station as a camp counselor watching the diving pool. A little kid jumped off and almost made it to the edge but started to panic/to tired to keep going. Their mom was standing right in front of them on the edge, just yelling at them to swim and I didnt know what to do. All my training never included how to handle a situation with the parent right there and the kid wasnt a camper. So I just sat there trying to figure out how to intervene before the life guard jumped in. This caught all the other camp counselors attention and one of them asked "So if it isnt a camper your just going to let them drown?" I still feel guilty about it. It all happened in the span of 5 seconds and i couldnt react fast enough

my mom would have been in cuffs just a few mins after i got out of the pool attempted murder even if she kept an eye on him still threw him in when he cant swim

This traumatized them? They were in the middle of a bunch of adults in a 6ft pool. Get over it. It is actually insane how much people cry and get traumatized from literally nothing.
@hampusludvigsson5718Күн бұрын
so ur mom in a sense exposing u to danger is cool yeah sure man if ur own mom the person that should protect u at all cost put u in danger even if there are adults there it still makes a huge affect even more so if ur a kid have to think about kids are more sensetive i mean he could have been six years old for all we know
@bouvardc.2334Күн бұрын
@hampusludvigsson5718 not even in danger. Drowning outside adult supervision in an accident would be much worse. This kid got all that experience with our being in danger. Protect at all cost. Seems exactly what she was doing. If you are too soft to do the right thing your child is going to grow up insufferable. Sometimes they need the belt and sometimes they need to learn.
