How was it you were so late to the party playing through DSIII? Just curious. I think these being released weekly and for 1 hour would be good - more episodic that way.

Too many games, not enough time. Aside from that, probably hardware. Figured these would be interesting ones to run :) I first ran through Dark Souls Remastered when it hit the Switch. With the release of the SteamDeck, it means I can run the trilogy (amongst others) without needing to update my ancient PC. DS1 and 2 were hourly every Tuesday and Friday. I found that the retention tanked with longer videos however. Attention span is not what it once was. DS3 is 30-45 mins every Tuesday and Friday and viewer retention is better. Maybe 45m is the sweet spot? I'll keep experimenting. Thanks for the feedback!

Thanks for the support! Next - (probably) no, eventually - (definitely) yes :) I don't currently own a PS4/5 and prefer not to emulate, but PS4's are cheap enough these days so I'll pick one up in the next couple of months. If I get one before I finish DS3 then maybe it will be next... I did manage to grab Demon Souls (original) for PS3 and have Sekiro, Elden Ring, and plenty of souls-like titles on Steam so there's plenty to be doing. Bloodborne is a definite. Just a question of when ;)

Loving this one. Definitely on par with DS Remastered. DS2 was great as well but not quite to this standard. Unsure whether to go for Demon Souls (PS3) or Sekiro or Elden Ring next. Also planning my first DS1 SL1 run.

Having to laugh at the beginner skill issue regarding this boss. As with the majority of bosses, there is a rhythm which we need to get into and once managed, the boss is indeed a pushover even at higher NG iterations. When we start DS3 I need to remember this and curb the expectations. I'll say this much - Watching yourself back is a fantastic learning experience, as is hindsight. The real rage is still to come in the DLCs....

Totally :) First full playthrough so it's taking a while to get used to. I'll get better eventually. Also (spoiler alert) I actually give this boss 7/10 when I do the rundown for closing credits. Definitely a lot of tilt here. Aiming to get it under control for DS3, but I can tell you it gets a LOT worse for DS2 :)
