Ne Bergauf ist es langsamer. Mir kam es vor allem drauf an auf der Straße auf der Fahrt zum Berg schneller als 25 zu sein und nicht wie wild treten zu müssen

Hallo Chris, wir haben zwei Mate X Bikes die wir inzwischen 700 km gefahren haben ohne irgendwelche Probleme. Es hängt vieles von der Montage und der Einstellung zu den Bikes ab. Für diesen Preis kann man hinsichtlich der Ausstattung nur Basis Komponenten erwarten, ein ernsthaftes vollgefedertes E-Mountainbike kostet ab 5.000 Euro! Diese Räder machen viel Spaß, so viel dass ich sie inzwischen fast täglich nutze. Die Hersteller wie Sondors und Radbikes sind ähnlich Ausgestattet, haben nur nicht den Verkaufserfolg wie Mate. Das Mate X entstand in einer Crowdfounding Aktion, viele Menschen mussten lange warten, die Technik und der Montageort musste aufgrund von Trumps Zollpolitik geändert werden, viele verunsicherte Backer ergeben einen online Shitstorm der von Leuten die Probleme mit der Montage oder den preisbedingten Unzulänglichkeiten des Konzeptes noch weiter geführt wird. Tatsache ist: wir haben keinerlei Probleme mit den Rädern, im Gegenteil, wir haben sehr viel Spaß mit ihnen, wir konnten aufgrund unserer Bike Erfahrung (es existieren 11 Fahrräder in unserem Haushalt) abschätzen was uns erwartet und wurden deutlich positiv überrascht. Wenn du ein Klapprad mit Fatbike Bereifung für Waldwege, City und Strand haben willst und in der Lage bist es nach Anleitung zu montieren und das entsprechende Werkzeug hast (ohne Drehmoment Schlüssel geht heutzutage bei der Fahrradmontage nichts!) kann ich dir das Mate Bike nur wärmstens empfehlen!

We send tens of emails, used the damaged and missing part website forms, tried to chat via Facebook, even wrote, commented to Christine Vardaros.... But still no useful answer or delivered broken and missing parts Go on Facebook and search for "Mate X Owners - not Mate controlled" group there you will find hundreds of people with all the same problems. Most who keep the bikes spend additional 1000 Dollars in upgrades to make them safe and drivable. The bike with the fat tires and high handlebar drives like s***. It is OK on a straight road, but driving curves or trying to go off road is very unstable and hard to control. With the serial shocks in front and back, the bike swallows no bumps at all. Many users invested additional 500 Dollar to replace them with parts of Aliexpress. We have only the Taiwan Version (black box) , maybe you have one of the earlier more quality Chinese bafang versions which should be a little bit better but, have also a lot of problems reported. Here in Germany you get for the same price better e bikes in the supermarket. (not foldable, no fat tires, but working safe bikes which handle better and have 2 years warranty. ) The product is not what mate suggested in the advertisement (the 14 month delivery also not) - so I think it is fair to warn other people before they start hating themselves falling for the very good but untrue advertising of mate (which they still do, even they where not able to deliver all bikes to bakers or deliver missing and broken parts, or just answer support questions) Just go to trustpilot.com you will find hundreds of unsatisfied bakers and customers. Sorry for my broken English, you know it is my mother language. Drive safe and look for the parts I mentioned in the video. Guess your family would hate to have you in a wheelchair because of a bad quality bike and if you see the financial records from mate it is very unlikely that you will get any support from them after suing.

The aluminum ist to weak, or the holes are drilled to wide on the stearing bar + the screws are to short. This is a danger which should forbid the delivery to normal people without any mechanical skills. Many bike shops do not touch mate bikes, because they are responsible after touching and anything happens.

I was thinking the same. Replacing the cells will be the faster solution, than waiting for replacement

McGrip100 yeah and quite honestly if you order a battery from mate directly then who knows how long that will actually take to get to you.

Hi! The easiest way (and probably cheaper) would be to buy a new one from aliexpress. There are tonnes of sellers selling that type of battery.

Der Klappmechanismus ist einfach sehr schwach. Wenn Du den Lenker ganz rausziehst und bremst geht da sehr viel Kraft drauf. Pedale habe ich noch nix gemacht. Ist bike von Freundin die ist nicht so schwer und fährt nur on road
