I had multiple episodes of this when I was a child. The surgeries were so terrifying my mind was permanently damaged from the trauma. The hallucinations were like being in hell. This info is repressed online and if you look up medical ptsd you’ll just see vids addressing medical ptsd in doctors, not patients. Wouldn’t want the hospitals to lose any money!

I had the same experience two months ago. I woke up in Icu. I didn't know what happened I thought I was getting regular checkups in hospital and they didn't know if they where going to admit me yet. I remember being attacked by a patient who was trying to stick something down my throat. That wasnt real. Two nurse pinning down on the bed and thinking the nurses where putting my name on a list to get rid of me. This was going on for six days.

They restrained me. I kept pulling the tubes out. PIC lines. Feeding tubes. my tracheotomy. I just knew I had to escape. I could have killed myself. It was hell. So many horrible hallucinations
