I just listened to the "dum maro dum" song because people here mentioned it. I don't see any problem with this tune being inspired by, or even a modern rock version of that one. Not sure why these guys are being accused of "plagiarism". This song is great.

Is this why the song has been removed from spotify?

This is what happens when you have a capitalist mindset towards everything in life and try to differentiate and separate every piece of creation artificially into independent intellectual properties. The fact of the matter is that the history of music, and all forms of art is based upon "theft" of other works. The idea that great pieces of music/art are completely independent and novel is erroneous in nature. With regards to this track, I do not hear anything that has been plagiarized from "Dum Maro Dum". Just a general inspiration from elements of that track. If that's considered plagiarism, then art is truly dead in modern society.
@nelsonth3 ай бұрын
the actual capitalist mindset is to ignore the labour of the original song composer you are sampling the most prominent guitar riff of your track from, and then try to earn revenue from it. Nobody's stopping them sampling 'Dum Maaro Dum', but they should at least acknowledge and give the dues for the original act of labour @@npvuvuzela

Doesn't it sound like the old Indian track "Dum maaro dum" from the legendary music producer "RD Burman" way back in 1971? kzbin.info/www/bejne/pH7Fqnunp9Sej7Msi=8M_W3JLN3Ih57MsT
