I know this is a old video but I found that the magnet is directional in position. If you put it back and it does not work still, flip it 180 degrees and try again. Just went through this with an Iscooter.

The taking out the screen method fixed my scooter apparantly there was sand inside so it dirupted the wiring

I got a second hand scooter with a broken battery, bought a battery, then it's not working. I had no idea yiu had to push off first. It has been sat in my office for 6 months! A big thankyou!
