The design was initially the same but due to carpets and trapdoors only creepers spawn there hence it's a creeper farm

@@Lucifer_Bloody_Morningstar no it's not like that actually when trapdoors are placed on a 2 block high ceiling, it lowers the height to less than 2 blocks that allows creepers to spawn but not other mobs idk about the carpets so can't comment on that

@@Ecstasy_gg yeah.. I just found it out... carpets don't allow spiders to spawn for some reason (google saying spiders need 3x3 air above their spawning block)... Thanks for the info tho

For anyone who acctually wants to build this thing in survival there is a few things i would reccomend. 1. instead of 2 stacks of hoppers make the place where squids fall stone and below it make a hopper minecart collection system which requires 1 hopper minecart, rails and 1 hopper instead of 2 stacks of hoppers. 2. before starting i would consider making an entire perimiter to y=40 so you can be sure there arent any underwater caves, it will also save time so you dont have to mine out an entire chunk of stone 30 layers deep.

my machine is chucking the gravel/sand 3 bits into the end rather than it staying in the machine or duping it? i have checed the farm many times and seems i did everything correct. Anyone know how to fix this?

TL:DR; Great vid, super helpful This is great stuff! I went looking for a duper for my brother after I saw him grinding sand the hard way, but I couldn't find one for 1.21 where the video wasn't talking about a snapshot version or just 1.20. My only suggestion would be to show some survival footage as an example during the step-by-step portion, as there will likely be many people trying to build one of these in their survival worlds, and following step-by-step instructions can be easier when your guide has the same limitations as you. All in all, great stuff, hope you do well!
