My brother always acted the big man with plenty of money. He didn’t know that I knew he begged my parents for $20k-$30k every year, which they gave him. If they hesitated he whined and then got nasty. My mom was on her death bed and he literally was being nasty because she wasn’t feeling well and wanted him to leave her alone. My sister walked in on his nastiness and told him to leave. He was po’d. My brother stole 10’s thousands from my father and the estate after my father died. Once a scumbag, always a scumbag.

It's super sad to be willfully mindless. And accepting it, by continuing to put it where he can still get it.

Why are you still keeping your money where your brother can steal it.

Who keeps large amounts of cash living at your parents house especially since you know the situation? Why does Sarah even live there? No cooperation from the parents? File a police report. I had a toxic family. As soon as I secured my college scholarships I was long gone. I planned that move. Sarah’s a fool thinking anything good comes from that family.

OP should have pressed charges against her brother for theft. Parents will get their karma from their golden boy son.

In this day and age; Who honestly keeps money lose in a dresser drawer, for a lazy sibling to steal??? She should've had a bank account, so Her brother didn't take any money.

What a stupid comment.

I hear what you're saying, but it's not the point. You should be able to leave anything in the privacy of your room without the fear of a family member coming in and rifling through your drawers to see what they could steal. If she didn't have cash, he probably would've found something he could sell.
