On Ralfs automotive diagnostic channel got the same conclusion, a fuse problem, same issue no bcm power and replacing the fuse may be the solution. Iam having the same issue and i already change the fuse which need to test if that fix it. FF titanium 2016

Hey what was the voltage Reading from the battery when you did start it before you fixt it? Was the alternator charging the battery?

Before cleaning the fuse would the car start if you used a jump pack?? As mine starts straight up but only with a jump pack. And battery was showing 11.9 volts 🤯🤯🤯

About to tackle this same isssue in a bit on my 2016 focus, car will be able to work some off hours of the day and not the rest of the time. Pretty sure it’ll just be corroded but swapping the fuse just incase

Just order the 50 amp fuse , I probably just got to clean off the corrosion 😂

Having this same issue with my wife’s car, and going to attempt to do this to me 2012 G37XS. Tank is stuck at full with the check engine light code P0462. Is your car a sedan?

Mine was stick at 3 quarters full all the time... i purchased a replacement of these on ebay for 30 bucks and boom, easy fix.

Hey I had the same problem and I soldered the amplifier just like you did and definitely fixed my fuel gauge problem and check engine light is no longer visible. But when I scan the car the p0462 code fuel level sensor A circuit low is in the permanent trouble codes. Is there a solution to this?

Oh wow I fixed mine with a new ac amp. So I might check if the permanent code is still there on mine.

@@unbreakablerepairs okay bc the printout i have is saying replace the cluster but i took it to a cluster spot that i know they were confused bc the cluster looked fine everything runs fine except my gas gauge..been frustrating cause i actually ran out of gas yesterday night lmaoo

Hello, so I purchased a fuel pump assembly to try and fix this exact issue (p0462) but I haven't replaced it yet. Do you think the odds are more likely its the AC amplifier than the FP? My gas meter doesn't go below 3/4 tank but it does go all the way to full when I fuel up. In your opinion, would you replace the FP first or you think it's def the AC amplifier? Thanks for the help man 🙏

I would definitely check that first, its not a terrible repair, just looks like a lot. Once the module is removed you should be able to see if the solder is cracked. Or you can always buy a used one. But its cheaper and easier to solder. Best of luck!

I would try the fuel level sensor behind the driver. If that doesn’t work I would try the ac amp it worked for me. Same issue at first was reading down to a 1/4 tank and then the check engine light came on then it read full always. Replace the ax amp and all good.
