they're not far off on the top end but the electric acceleration particularly from a standstill is simply colossal
@wyvern45884 ай бұрын
Having owned and raced both, nitro has a more lively mid-band which is perfect for the dirt and track, they are also lighter and are more nimble. Electric will always have Nitro beat off the line, but in a track setting, they feel more "clunky".

The car is fine, thanks for showing. I`m going to get one. Can`t you control the car`s position in a jump by braking/accelerating? Wheels to small for this kind of controlling?
@TrekRC7 ай бұрын
Yeah you can control the jump by braking. Main issue is the parachuting from the body.

The xv01 is meant as brushed platform, compared to the xv02, tha can be used brushless with no issuem I do not suggest to go 3s brushless on this poor thing, it is an amazing scale racing car and offorad perform like no other but keep the poor thing brushed or brushless on 2s and not extreme punch! I still bash mine and on btuhsless i have been experienced lots of malfuncion and breakage compared to brushed (siper stock, gear ratio 21/68). The belt driven drivetrain is not the most resistent but guarantees a smoothness and quiteness like no other!

Neither am I . The video was great. Check out tuning videos from JQ. He makes so easy to understand. Long full throttle runs are no good for a off-road nitro .

This is why I never run a boat in a pond without having a spool of fishing line. Tie one end to a tree or something (or get a buddy to hold it) and reel the line out until it stretches across the pond. Then you can dip the line into the water to snag the boats, and pull them back to shore. Another way is to tie a short stick on one end and throw it over the boat, hoping the fishing line will snag the boat. Then reel in the line and pull in the boat. This doesn't work as well but works faster. It's good when the boat is just out of reach but close to the side.
@lawrencewinter Жыл бұрын
Yeah that puttering that you hear at 1:23 is a sign it's too lean. But its lean at the low speed need. High speed is ok. Give it an hour or two on the low speed. Nice clip though! Keep ripping bro

@@TrekRC it’s complicated to explain, also a lot of the experts will say other wise lol But it’s all 3 low/high and idle needles Most importantly the engine temp has to constant.
