Well done Paula. It's an amazing lyric from a great song. I bought the album as a 15 year old on its day of release in 1986. I still haven't got over it.

It's always struck me as odd that Metal, especially after it's popular years of the 80's, always seems to be portrayed as this dirty secret or guilty pleasure. Even the talent shows that dominate our tv screens seem to shy away from anything outside of standard karaoke fare. Speaking of which, Mainland Europe never seem to be scared of metal in all its glory, you see it on their versions of the voice all the time, yet Britain, a place that gave rise to many a metal act including Maiden, seem to shun it. I recently spoke with a friend on the subject of music and he said his fiancee couldn't understand why he would listen to the music he did, because they weren't famous like Beyonce. I was like "Shit, Maiden packs stadiums by the thousands all over the world, flies a fucking Boeing 757 and puts on one of the biggest, baddest and best shows you will ever see". Biased I know but you can't deny they play a good game Anyway to this video. Honestly this is the first time I've heard mention of Maiden in the mainstream media since hearing "Can I Play With Madness" play out over Formula 1 and that was nearly a decade ago. I have a newfound respect for Paula Radcliffe. She can squat and piss in the street any time from now on if you ask me!
