LM won’t have a market in Western countries where chauffeurs are very expensive and only the ultra rich can afford them. They’ll be a big hit in countries like India and China where even the “just rich” can afford chauffeurs.
@motornationofficial3 күн бұрын
That's true, and majorly these vehicles are sold in those markets in high numbers. You can spot them majorly in South Asian countries.

Both vehicles have some real advantages. I just wish the new Yukon AT4 had increased road clearance, maybe a couple inches more. Even just adding larger tires could add an inch. It starts at a little under 8"s, and with the adjustable air ride suspension can go as high as a little under 10"s, though the 10" level is only at very low speeds while in 4Low, but the new Expedition Tremor has a full time 10.6" road clearance. Even the non-Tremor Expeditions like the Platinum have 9.6"s. Imagine if the Yukon AT4 started at 9 or 10" and went up to 11 or 12"s. I'd vote for the 10-12" levels. A real lost opportunity for GM. That said, that upgraded diesel option in the Yukon is awfully tempting. Too bad Ford didn't offer the hybrid Powerboost engine in the Expeditions. Their lost opportunity.

That would be cool! Hope GM offers it soon.

The 1.2l pure tech engine is also used in Vauxhall, Citroen & Peugeot! Sports mode does nothing but use more petrol. Suspension is stiff, it doesn't like bumps. You wouldn't want to be sat in the back on a long journey. Loud music? It's maximum is not loud at all & bluetooth connection keeps cutting out.

That's true in terms of the jeep when they have merged with the PSA group. Anyways, the Europeans don't understand the American theory of driving.

@@motornationofficial what a patronising response. Typical of an american. It's a piece of junk. It's overpriced, overrated & prone to falling apart. Electronics are particularly low quality garbage.

I am not being patriotic here, since I am very much neutral in this case. What I meant is Americans and Europeans have different needs in their vehicles, where Americans love big bully vehicles European want them feature loaded and with great ride quality. Please take it sarcastically as I didn't want to harm anyone's emotions.

Glad to be any Early commenter! My Question to you guys, is when the Charge fully runs out, can this PHEV vehicle run solely on gas? I know I might no be abel to even think of Affording this vehicle, (Compared to the BYD Shark) but still... if it can optional gas only when out of charge...it may be a big decison maker.
@motornationofficial28 күн бұрын
I would like to inform you that any phev or hybrid car you buy it will majorly run on gasoline only whereas the hybrid or phev system provides you extra miles from the battery for your daily commute or short drives from the battery that is recharged while you are braking, and this recharging only takes place when you are driving on gasoline.
@zechssiguro747627 күн бұрын
@@motornationofficial tks, I realize that's the norm, which I prefer, it's the BYD Shark that's different, no connecting drive train from front to bk wheels, so if you run out of charge, & have a full tank of gas, you still can't move. I think I prefer Fords setup in that crucial case. I believe 1 should always have the alternative to run in gas only, if there's any Elec power loss.
@motornationofficial27 күн бұрын
In any PHEV you get three drive options, first is the full electric mode second is a combined mode and third is the only gasoline mode. So you can run on gas only. If I am wrong anywhere or could not get your point, please correct me.

Can you get that work surface found in the second row executive package in the front row center console, so the driver can put his laptop on it while parked and work from the driver's seat? It's too bad if not. That would be much more useful for a lot more people than having that in the second row.
