I love the idea of using books for collage and art. I do that some with my own journals as a way to reclaim things, if that makes sense.

That sounds really meaningful! I find this really empowering too ❤️

Overcoming indoctrination/brain-washing is very difficult and does result in an existential crisis afterward. "Faith" is Blind Belief. You have to "believe" in the imaginary, supernatural Jew "supreme being" YAHWEH to "believe" in the fictional literary character YAHWEH-incarnate Jesus the Jew. There are multiple proofs in the new testes-ment itself that YAHWEH-incarnate Jesus the Jew never existed. The Jews were never slaves of the ancient Egyptians and the Exodus never happened, invalidating the rest. The Jew-Book "holy bible" is not any sort of truth, riddled with factual errors and ridiculous superstitious nonsense. You have to be an ignorant simpleton to be "believing" the Jew-Book "holy bible". The Vatican is a fraud, the biggest fraud in recorded Human Ape Real History. The Human Ape was not "created" and is still an ape, the last surviving hominidae of the Great African Ape family. The Jew-Book "holy bible" tries to gain credibility with a few real names and real places but most of the accounts behind them never happened. The Jew-Book "holy bible" is irrational delusional garbage, from cover to cover.

What an incredible and badass way to reclaim your sanity and wellbeing. That book is well on its way to being a proper Tome Of Healing.

This book totally sounds like teaching kids to comply for adult's benefit... Totally twisted. So sorry you had to experience being taught any of this... Sharing it and your thoughts on it is dispelling it's power, keep deconstructing and creating over and through the trauma!

I love the writing in ‘this is stupid’ at dumb spots in the book. That is exactly what I’ve done when angrily annotating books 😂

This was so peaceful, thank you for sharing, what an awesome job and wow the scenery and nature!!! It's so rewarding working with kids and helping them learn to appreciate nature, and the dying project looks so cool! It is surprising how some past people seem to never change their ways, but how eye opening it can be to see what change and growth you can go through in comparison. A lovely butterfly emerging from past happenings that have tried keeping you in a cocoon. I totally relate. Much love and healing to you 🩷

As someone who is also an artist with religious trauma I LOOOVE this!

Wow, I love what you are doing!! I've never heard of this group before, but I have seen the umbrella picture you mentioned.. What an oppressive upbringing. Hugs, girl. And what a beautiful thing to transform this crazy book for your own therapeutic purposes, in a beautiful artistic way. The quotes you add and writing on the sides of the pages, the collages, love it!! I was raised Baptist, was homeschooled and my parents did their best to shelter me from the evils of the world.. did plenty of damage that I'm still working through. Comes out through my art and music, transmuting trauma into art is so freeing. You're an inspiration, thank you, gonna check out your other videos now!

Thank you so much for watching and all of your sweet comments! I was homeschooled too, there’s so much to heal from, but it’s so encouraging seeing how many of us are doing that work 💜

the moment I saw the pheasant in the preview for the video (before I even saw the full title), I knew exactly what book this was. so proud of you and happy for you in sticking it to Gothard <3

also: a few years ago, I physically tore up every toxic Christian book I had and turned it into homemade paper. if you'd like a few pages of it to use in your book, I'd be happy to mail you some!

Oh my gosh that would be so freaking cool to use some of your paper in this project! If you message me on instagram we could figure that out!

This is so cool! Your channel feels so cozy, and the transformation of the book and asserting your autonomy over the old pages is so magical. Glad my algorithm showed me this!

Im so sorry to hear about your friend. you seem to feel a little lonely, but keep going you’ll have ups and downs. There are other floggers who have things going on that aren’t easy in their lives but have their vlog community who are kind and supportive. A lot of people who do vlog dont show their face. This is a good place to just share and you’ll eventually start getting people who are supportive and become friends. Just enjoy it ! If your still in your faith stay strong in that . Im a believer too but dont think God is too strict, you dont know who God may bring into your path someone that you can be a light for and love everyone right where they are. We fall but he doesn’t want us to give up on us cause that means ya give up on him. Your right we are all connected but we all have a path we each walk … if someone doesn’t share the same walk perse’ thats ok, just love them right where they are! You already have two who are subscribed!
