Couldn't agree with you more Micheal. I'm autistic, not severely autistic, but to the point where I cannot pick up on social cues, certain emotions and other things relating to socializing... Learning new words about emotions has been a massive help for me, as I can understand emotions so much better, compared to when I was not learning new words, I can, kind of decrypt in a way, how someone could be feeling. I've also noticed online, especially in comment sections, that people often argue over the most mundane topics. This is the internet, after all, where people feel free to say whatever they like. However, what stands out to me is that most of these arguments tend to include some form of swearing and are driven by anger. It seems that many people struggle to argue without becoming emotionally charged. Why is that? I believe it's because most people don't know how to regulate their emotions. If we all learned more words related to emotions and how to express them, I think the world could become a better place. Awesome channel btw, just subscribed 👍👍

"Find that place of belonging" I feel this, I've moved to a new city and it's been a bit of a struggle to find a place where I feel like I belong. Seems difficult to make genuine friends that share the same intrests in me. But also I feel like the things I have intrests in isn't so welcoming where I am. I've been struggling with it for a bit but I know it will get better. Visiting home helps a lot, also reminds me why I've moved and why this change isn't necessarily a bad thing! Thank you for making this video.

Super tricky finding belonging in a big city, especially coming from a small town or village. Keep your head up Juan, perhaps find a club or social team around something you're interested in and go from there 😊

you’re not alone! i’ve moved across the world just by myself, no family, no friends. it has been 10 months. missing home is part of the process, i guess, but there is a beauty in it because it means we have something worth missing. every day brings new experiences and growth, and slowly, you'll find pieces of home in unexpected places. :)

It is an extremely interesting concept. After getting myself an iPod classic a few weeks ago I’m all into this way of life. But one theory I have heard someone say is that pictures on smart phones make people shy, they look away and all that stuff. I don’t know if an iPhone 4s has the same reaction to people, but a actual point and shoot shouldnt have that effect, people start actively trying to be in pictures. I have yet to try this out, even though I had a film point and shoot at some point in time, it broke😢
@NextHeart4 ай бұрын
I have the complete opposite philosophy about digital media, it's a modern marvel to be able to store practically unlimited amounts of photos in a way that they'll never be lost to time. If you do go the dedicated camera route, I would definitely recommend looking into the three, two, one backup strategy, while losing pictures isn't losing a memory, it's still a shame nonetheless, while you may not appreciate the mass amount of pictures you have right now, you might very well down the line when you have less responsibilities, browsing through the things you enjoyed at a certain points in time can rekindle interest and thoughts, even if they are silly memes, it would otherwise let dormant synapses never reactivate without the sensory reminder. You might want to try creating an album on your primary phone specifically for photos you know you're going to want to print at the point of taking them, once you take the important photo, move it into that album right away, that was you'll have your main gallery for silly memories for later on in life to browse through, and you will have a digital album for important memories that you want easy browsing access for sharing and printing.

Loved this video. I get what you mean about having physical items, I've veen trying to be more mindful what I'm watching/listening to. It's way too easy to passively consume so I've been using an old mp3 player for music. Making an effort to interact with the art has helped alot, whether that's writing a comment, book review or reccomending an album to a friend. Anyway this video was great and I'm looking forward to keeping up with this series :)

What a beautiful sunrise! And listening to old tunes on the way is such a vibe 🙂 Too early for xmas songs though 😂 As for the photo archive, I prefer to store important photos on google drive or external ones no matter if I post them online or not. Your idea to use the old iPhone for taking such polariod-like pics actually sounds very cool. We all are constantly stuck in this never ending cycle of informational overconsumption nowadays, and slowing down and paying more attention to capturing moments without spamming yourself feels so damn healthy hahah

I stumbled upon this video today and it really opened my eyes to how much I research exclusively on the internet. Having any and all information at my fingertips makes me forget that there are times where the internet is just unavailable and the world has a lot to offer physically if we take the time to learn or seek practical guides and books instead of having them lost in landfills. Owning these in times of need is important and can give so much that might not even be documented on our internet! This video inspires me to make sure the next time I go shopping I re-hit my thrift stores in search of practical books! Thank You :0]!
