In the "old days" in 1985, Parkside (Commons) was brand new. I lived in P and the following year most of us in that suite requested H because that one was even newer and we'd be the first in that building as well. That outdoor eating area wasn't there and it looks like the food options are much better now.

I spent the greatest four weeks of my life in the J building in 2009 traveling with EF. Since it's been 13 years my memories of how it actually looked there are starting to fade, but this video brought me right back. Even though this clearly isn't for me I'd still like to thank you. Sincerely, a Norwegian remembering the good old days at 3:23 AM.

It really depends on what style and mandatory meal plan you choose. Rates can be found at www.csulb.edu/student-affairs/university-housing-residential-life/housing-fees-academic-year-2022-2023 . You can pay everything at once or through an installment payment plan. Installment payments are not based by month. You are still responsible for the whole total housing fee amount.

Parkside North rooms does get filled faster than other locations. It can be selected during the room selection process.
