I believe David Taylor will do well as head coach at Oklahoma State University. I big factor in his coaching will be the coaching team he puts together. It might take a few years to build a strong foundation, but he will give Penn State a much needed competition in the sport of wrestling.
@davidhughes4785Ай бұрын
Will David Taylor be a great coach? He has won many wrestling championships. I did not think he would beat the Iranian. The Iranian has a fantastic double leg attack, or is it a high crotch with a double leg finish? He also took down Sadulaev with the same move.

Ghasempour is sore loser, getting beat up by taylor and russian tank must really have broke him 🤣

What is funny about that?

David Taylors Style helped grow our sport.His non-stop attacking hand fighting battles made him great and tough to beat. He made his teams better at all age group levels. He will be remembered as one of the Greatest and deserving so. He may be retiring his competition pistols but we were all blessed by his magic on the mat.

10:20 Taylor putting up 1 finger, perhaps forgetting he was in the bronze match. 🙄
@thedoommarine9174Ай бұрын
The 1 finger up is often used to denote giving glory to God. He’s not saying he’s #1, he’s pointing upwards.
@georgechubbs6992Ай бұрын
@@thedoommarine9174was Taylor’s waiving of both arms upwards gesture just before that also denoting God? lol That’s a universal sign for stand up and applaud my greatness. I respect Taylor and all he has accomplished, but never cared for the post victory prancing around. None of that from Sadulaev when he beat Taylor, or when he won his 6th world title.
@VincentBones44Ай бұрын
@@georgechubbs6992move to Russia then you dork. Obviously different situations. Let DT be excited about a big win in his last match
@thedoommarine9174Ай бұрын
@@georgechubbs6992 No argument here, man. I am also greatly annoyed by those types of antics and wish that the greats would all be stoic in victory. It’s a much better look in my opinion. That said, I don’t think Taylor is forgetting that he got beat and implying he’s #1. If that was what he was doing, it’s incredibly foolish.
@MihirS84Ай бұрын
He is celebrating the end of his glorious competitive wrestling career, not his bronze medal. He was crestfallen when he won silver at the 2021 world championships and came roaring back after that. Beating a 2 time world champ like Ghasempour was a great way to cap it off.

this was one of Taylor's greatest accomplishments in wrestling, came out of retirement and wrestled up a weight class where his opponents are stronger than he, and collected bronze beating a 2 time world champion. I have a feeling if he had time to prepare for sadulaev and develope a more defensive strategy he would have a shot to upset him. Ghasempour just about had Sadulaev beat so it is not impossiboe

Nope Dagestanis always beat USA
@gregorydryden7865Ай бұрын
@@yasararafatha3139 yes Dagestanis are very good wrestlers and fighters. I think the only possible way Taylor could beat Sadulaev is he would have to develope a more defensive strategy like The Iranian did. Of course Sadulev is great and pulled off an amazing last second victory. Sadulaev, Bouvaiser Satiev in wrestling and several MMA fighters such as Khabib Nurmagomedov are some of the best athletes in history.
