Excellent episode! If you use teflon sealing tape that is made for gas pipe, it is easily twice as thick as the cheapo generic sealing tape. The tape is dyed yellow or blue generally. Faster, easier, more reliable. Available at any hardware store.

Im an ADVOCATE for DYI and I hate to pay anyone for something I can do myself. However in my HOME my insurance made me Have a professional instulation and a inspection done by a permitted inspector and also the Fire department had to check it out too... I asked can I install the stove my self to save money they said 100% YES however you will FORFIT shall your home burn down in a fire... Because the stove was NOT professionally inspected nor installed. So The risk of this is kinda idk... The insurance companys DO NOT want to pay for claims AT ALL!! A dyi wood stove is a HUGE risk. I guess if your insurance is fine with it go for it mine said NO WAY... SO I went pellet stove i love it and it was SUPER simple and got the permits and code and inspection and more and MORE AND MORE... The insurance also asked if I had a Pit Bull they must have snooped around my home to look. I said NO i have a Mini Bull Terrier its a completely different dog. That would have RAISED my insurance 100 a year but I showed them my AKC paperwork saying its NOT a pit bull.

Ive been planning on tackling my front end suspension and have been looking for a good video to reference since I have the same YMM as you do. Thanks for uploading this and including a parts list! The only parts I wil be needing different is new shocks because mine are still the originals, and bushings for the UCAs LCAs and strut bars. My control arms are in good condition still bevause I live in GA so almost no rust underneath.

Might be a stupid question. But moving the linkage on the spline 1 tooth to eather side should change the hight of the gear selector ?? or am I missing some thing. (Without adding new parts).

Should add the extra wheels storage slots to the front support legs, that you don't need to even carry them anywhere else than just place to side.

Me again, sorry I sent comment before watching the entire video, Tip: to avoid damaging the king pin or similar parts in the vice from the vise jaw knurles you can buy 2 pieces of brass to put in between the vice jaw and the part, the brass is softer than the king pin so the pin is not damaged, damaging the pin if not sanded smooth again it will damage the wall the pin slides down into causing excessive wear. Thanks again!

Hi, great videos, there is a different style of injector needle, the type you bought works great for injecting grease into ball joints with no grease fitting, the kind you needed looks like a really fat ball pen with the ink ball and tip insert removed it’s beveled so it seals evenly into the original grease fittings. Keep up the informative videos! I’m mechanically inclined so so much on the tech side otherwise I’d attach a pic of it.

You may want to add that if you use teflon tape on the threads, you need to use a tape that works with hydraulic oil. Your normal plumbers tape will not hold up. The tape I use comes in a yellow case.

So i have the same headlight and I'm about to do this on my 2018 Grom, While wiring "shouldd" be the same, i'll verify that via diagrama on the 2018 Grom. Since you did your light on a switch, and I don't plan on running a switch, would I just completely bypass all that part iin this video? I ask that because I tested my light and it comes on once the bike has turned over. I haven't swapped rectifiers or anything on my bike yet.

Way too much Teflon tape. It’s not a sealant, it’s a lubricant to ease the threads together. Male and female pipe threads are tapered to become tighter as they are screwed together, thus not leaking. The Teflon eases the tapered threads together. You can even see the taper on the male side when looked at from the fitting sideways.

Quick tip, when working on hydraulic equipment and you are disconnecting hoses hook up a shop vac to the hydraulic fill and the vacuum will stop or certainly slow the oil loss.

No way that set screw was a 25 torx. Would have been a hex allen, likely SAE.

Nice vido, one thing you want to be careful of with the teflon tape is not wrapping over the Ned of thread on adapter nippel, as it will cut tape loose and possibly plug up valve, great job on improving your equipment,

Silly question, but why didn't you simply add a removable hitch to the bucket? If you are staying on your property, wouldn't this be an easier and cheaper solution?

As long as you have the pin out, weld a protection ring around the zerk fitting. A short 1/2" piece of pipe works great. Tack on four sides. Short filet welds until secure. Removal and re-installation of the zerk is done with a socket. The protection ring Will collect dirt, but it's easy to clean before lubing. If you're a nut like me, you can weld pipe nipples, and screw on a cap. One nipple cut in half makes two rings. That keeps the zerk clean, and the cap comes off with a wrench.

Nice upgrade! For future reference, you should only need about two complete wraps of teflon tape on a tapered thread for it to seal up. too much rape can get squeezed into the pipe where it can break off and damage components.

One modification I found extremely useful is to get some 22x11-10 high load 4ply atv tires with 10x10 on 4on4 pattern rims... The added width of the tire tread helps to prevent getting stuck while walking it in muddy or soft soilsand the extra inch of clearance aids in walking over stumps/logs/rocks

Incredibly produced video with excellent voice over. You A-Holes that laughed at her about the compressed O-Rings are, simply, losers. You couldn't produce a video with this type of quality if your life depended on it. Heck, you couldn't do it if your family's life depended on it. She is 10 times the person than you'll ever be!
