Fun fact,. The car was originally named the" GT 40'(for its height of fourty inches) back in the early days but the rights to name"GT 40" was aquired by a company that tried to sell it back to ford for the production of the cars we see today for over a million dollars,...and Ford subsequently told them to keep the "40" and hence the name Ford GT
