WTF? You don't know how to start a fire. You need to put dry grass, then small trigs first given enough space for oxygen flow then progressively larger sticks. You basically snuff the fire.

@@TemplarX2 Wayne is a bit out of practice and everything was very wet, if you watch previous videos you will see we can get the fire going quite quickly....atb...jeff

@@Bellairvideo Cheers Noel, yes the chicken was good, it was the spitfire and a camera aircraft flying over the woods, very popular are the spitfire flights but at £4000 a flight it's out of my league...atb...jeff.

Great overview of the old camp site Jeff. Your set up Looks very cosy indeed. You should make some damper. I will send you the recipe. Windy as it is here in Australia. Hope you don’t hear any ghost trains whistling thru during the night!🚂🚂🚂

This simple damper is cooked over the campfire on a stick and is great eaten hot with jam or vegemite. It's so easy to make and cook Ingredients * 1 cup self-raising flour * 1 tsp sugar * 1 tbs butter * 3/4 cup milk * pinch salt
