Just moved out of Poway after 20 years. We lived right there off of Twin Peaks. It’s not what it once was. Way too crowded now and getting worse.

Lake Havasu City is situated in Mohave County Arizona, arguably one of, if not m, the most corrupt counties in Arizona. No one is safe from official misconduct, except the many criminal informants.

It feels so surreal seeing the city I grew up in on the internet, and all the places I've been in, streets I've walked and driven down.

I'm glad you captured the view of westbound Espola Road (45:00) because the right side of the street where StoneRidge Country Club used to be is now developed in single-home residences. The golf course was demolished in early July 2021. I used to live near Golden Sunset for nearly three years. Half of those years was during the pandemic. Moved out of California in mid-June 2021. Miss this drive and the scene. Thank you, TourJo20!

You do know that the last almost 8 minutes wasn't even Poway Right?? it was R.B. Rancho Bernardo. Which is part of San Diego. Until a few minutes back up Pomerado before you hit Poway again. And then you made a u turn on Pomerado...going to the Interstate 15. Dude you are all over the place

I lived in Poway for 58 years. Your all over the place. Backtracking some roads like at the corner of Midland & Twin Peaks 3 times. To bad I wasn't there to direct you into a better video that you could have seen more in less time without any Backtracking. Thanks for sharing what once used to be a nice Small town that has Lost ALL its Charm.

Home Sweet Home. Grew up in Poway, literally was sort of a Poway Princess, not because I ever won some crown for being in a pageant but because my dad worked for The City of Poway as a civil engineering inspector and he helped to build what was the city of Poway from the years 1973 to roughly 2003. And I sat at his side many times opening up the blueprints for roadways and new construction for places like Old Coach Road, and the development of Scripps Ranch as well as so many more grand openings like the red carpet at the movie theater opening and remembering when the first Stater Bros opened its doors as well. Although I have not been back to see this place I all-too-often long for, I am amazed at how much of it has remained underdeveloped. I'm glad to see that there are still hills filled with actual undeveloped soil and that there isn't a walmart on every street corner but just the one that opened in the 1990s where my cousin was able to be one of the first customers when he stayed with us on Community Road in our old townhouse. It was so good to see my home, and even though it's not a trip back to show my kids where I grew up off Casa Cynthia Lane or Sycamore Tree Lane, or Old Carriage Road, I was able to see the Train and the Hamburger Factory where my dad was partially responsible for the train table development and I remember the opening ceremony for that event very clearly as well. I remember the haunted house there one year as well as my Aunt serving us the best of the best ribs and getting to excitedly wait for the train with my ticket in hand. I remember when Cullys was the place to be on Sunday Mornings because you could never say no to the half and half biscuits and gravy with home fries and familiar faces. Your video brought back all the best of my memories and allowed me to share so many stories with my kids. So thanks so very much for the awesome video of my forever home, -from a, once upon a time, Poway Princess.
