Yes, that's part of the modding process for steven's weilong ii. However, it's best to use a nylon washer instead of metal

hey! i know this comment is way after the video came out, but i did come up with a better/safer method that is WAY EASIER to do. there is absolutely no risk of harming the puzzle in any way. if you get a magnet and hold it up to the tip magnet, it should come right out. you might have to try for a few minutes, but it worked great for me. i just used some extra mgc 5x5 magnets i had laying around. thank you steven for the idea
