Hello Daniel, where do you live in Uk? My turbo trainer make some graining noise. Do you know what could it be?
@lonecyclistАй бұрын
Hey! Thanks for reaching out! It’s hard to guess what’s the noise but typically it would be worn out bearings. Please note I’m not a professional mechanic though. Also it depends on what turbo trainer do you have.

This is incredibly pretty but damn it looks absolutely savage to ride, especially knowing that the harder second half of the Granfondo with the elbow and the other long climbs is still left after all of this.

13 hours at 80g per hour is a kilo of sugar. Symbolically, I like that. "By the end of the day, I will have eaten that bag of sugar". Another way to look at it would be to see what kind of cake would be suitable, low enough fat and protein, presumably, and demolish that over the course of the day. If you have 10-20min off 8x, that's plenty of time to eat cake. Lemon drizzle cake may be a good candidate. Or apple pie. Not chocolate, for sure. Sorbet, too.

Hi im thinking of taking my bike from sweden to ride in poland on vaccation, but my girlfriend (polish) says its a bad idea and people drive like crazy so its dangerous. What do you think? How was it to travel with bike like this for first time?
@lonecyclist Жыл бұрын
Hi Alexander! Well, I'm polish and rode thousands kms in Poland (especially at the south). I wouldn't say it's much worse then anywhere else but as always it's just wise to avoid major roads with heavy traffic. Just plan your routs with Strava heat maps (to see which road cyclists do the most) and you should be fine. It was the second time I was flying with a bike (first time with the current one) and it's not a big deal really. Just make sure you checked with your airlines the baggage wight limits, etc. Good luck!

Congratulations man, what an amazing bike, did you buy a new frame, or it’s a second hand?
@lonecyclist Жыл бұрын
Hi! The frame comes from the Specialized reseller. Unfortunately they damaged the frame accidentally during their build (not very badly) so it couldn’t be handed over to the customer. Then it was professionally fixed and I could bought it for a fraction of the price. If they didn’t tell me it was fixed I couldn’t tell that. There’s literally no sign of any repair. Super happy about the deal.
